Please note: I am not home full-time. I do work a full-time job on weekdays, with some flexibility. (Update: 11/24/23) Please be patient with me during this time, as my furbaby Jack just crossed the rainbow bridge on November 8th. I am still accepting bookings, but acceptance times and availability may vary. Hello beautiful pet parents! My name is Carlitha, and although I am new to the Rover community of sitters, my love for all animals has been cultivating for roughly 15 years now. I am a high school teacher, so my weekdays are a little busy, and weekends are currently dedicated to fur-babies. I have a 15 year old Yorkie-mix named Jack, who has been my peace and joy since the Spring of 2008. He gets along great with other dogs (and even cats), and he even enjoys assisting me in the daily feeding of the neighborhood birds, squirrels and chip munks-- oh, and the cat who sometimes relaxes in my garage. Jack is the only pet I own at the moment, but I have been having serious dog-fever lately, which is why I decided to sign up to be a pet sitter. I have also used Rover dozens of times for my pet sitting needs, so I 100% trust (and am comfortable with) its service. Loved working with Carlitha to watch our dog. First time using rover and she was amazing. Great communication throughout and she genuinely cares for the dogs!
Carlitha did an amazing job taking care of our dog, who is normally pretty shy but seemed to open up to her. She sent lots of photos and was very kind and understanding when we had scheduling issues. She sent us home with an an adorable “paw painting”. Would not hesitate to have Carlitha take care of our dog again!!
Carlitha was great. Our pup is a little anxious and she was patient with him and won him over. She was great about sending pictures throughout. We will definitely be seeing her again!

I live in a spacious, dog-friendly house with a good size backyard for daily play. I also reside in Lakewood, which means that I am close to many parks and lots of nature, so your furbaby will get lots of fresh air and exercise!
A typical day
I accommodate fur-babies of every energy level. Have a couch potato? Then we can spend the day relaxing indoors or on the front porch-- with plenty of hugs, snugs, and belly-rubs. Have an energizer bunny? I am close to plenty of nature paths and parks, and my neighborhood has an endless supply of thirsty trees and bushes!
