Dog & Cat Loving Pet Sitter!

Growing up around animals instilled a belief in me that pets are like family, and that belief led me to adopting my first dog, Hazel. More than a decade, another dog, and two cats later, that belief has only grown. Hazel has medical conditions that require medication through pills and injection, and she previously used a wheelchair, so I have experience with pets that need an extra touch of love. My partner's sister trains dogs professionally, and I've learned how to care for pets of all temperaments through her guidance. I am happy to keep up all your pets' schedules and help with training, so long as proper guidance is provided beforehand (I'll probably ask you about this, too!) A few notes about services: • I prefer a meet and greet before any bookings, but will only charge a drop-in rate should the meet and greet require more detailed guidance, such as medication schedules or training plans. • If you book house sitting I will be at the home for the majority of the time booked, but I may come and go as I please to run errands, grab food, e.g., and your pet(s) will never be left longer than recommended. • Drop-ins don't include walks, but do include playtime, enrichment (if left by paw parents), feeds, and litter box care. Need anything else? Just ask! • Should weather impact a scheduled walk, I am happy to swap for a standard drop-in visit, at no charge to the client, to provide enrichment despite weather. These conversations will happen day of, pending weather conditions. Finally, I consider myself a safe space and believe in equity for all. If you have any questions, ask away! I'm so excited about caring for your pet(s).

Drop-In Visits • Apr 20, 2026

Carlie was able to help with the cats last minute and took exceptional care of them, like always! Even my skittish cat lets her get some pets in and she is able to give my other cat his medication reliably. Definitely recommend!

Carlie was great with my two cats while I was away! She kept them to their food schedule, made sure they had play and window time, cleaned up any messes, and was able to give my older cat his nightly medicine! My house and my two kitties were in perfect condition when I got home. Would definitely recommend/book again!

House Sitting • Aug 26, 2025

Carli is a dream dog sitter, especially for someone who has never left their baby alone with anyone. She stayed at my house for almost a week and Sunny was very well taken care of. She left the house spotless, updated me with pics of walks and fun stuff. She’s a gem and I’ll definitely be using her again! :)

Schedule

My partner and I live in a single family home with a fenced in yard and plenty of rooms with doors. We work remotely, so we have someone around at all times. I usually make my rounds between 9am and 6pm, depending on when someone needs care for their pet. Our pets follow a regular schedule: • 7am - Breakfast • 8am - Walks • 11am - Enrichment • 12pm - Potty Break • 4pm - Potty Break • 6pm - Playtime • 7pm - Dinner • 8pm - Walks • 11pm - Potty Break & Bedtime On the weekends, we love venturing out to dog-friendly hiking trails or open spaces to get out of the house and into nature.

Safety, trust & environment

I create safe environments filled with trust by following routines, sticking to schedules, and keeping things as normal as possible for any pet that I'm with. I love when paw parents leave detailed instructions for me to follow so that I can provide their pet with the proper care and little-to-no disruption from the norm.

Pets

A typical day

A great day includes at least two long walks to release stress and sniff around, delicious meals created with care and served at regular intervals, enrichment time to build confidence and earn rewards, and play time to work off steam and get positive physical contact. I also think each pet deserves tons of snuggles and great hangs.

I love any and all kinds of pets, but I need to know what makes yours special: do they like humans? Do they like other pets? Where is their favorite place to be scratched, and where do they not like to be touched? Do they have any allergies? Do they have any medications? What gets them excited? What scares them? What's their favorite toy? What games do they like to play? Are they working on any training at the moment? What is their normal routine or schedule? Where are their items located in the home? The more you can share, the better!
