My passion for animals started early and I never grew out of it. We had dogs and rabbits growing up, which nurtured my love for animals even more. I was a Veterinary Assistant for 2 years, in which time I became more knowledgeable about animal health and behavior. This two years as a Veterinary Assistant gave me experience with not just cats and dogs, but an array of exotic pets and birds! I then worked at a summer camp for kids that specialized in animals. I was responsible for the interactions between the campers and the many creatures there- from a Labrador Retriever to a Three-toed Sloth. After having kids, decided to stay home. When we adopted our first puppy, I went through the A.K.C Puppy training program with him at a local training location. The skills and information I learned during this training program will be very useful when caring for your pet. I really enjoy hiking and running outside- being in nature is my second passion. If you have a high energy pet, I will be more than happy to wear them out for you. I am very confident and excited to lend my experience out via the Rover platform! I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Carlie was amazing! She took our dog Zucchini on a walk almost everyday, which was great for Zucchini to get out her energy. Carlie was also very flexible and able to drop in twice in one day for us and adjust the schedule. We will definitely use her again!

Schedule
I'm currently a stay-at-home parent, and my kids will be back in school full time in the fall. So, I will have plenty of time for your pups and cats! I'm an active person, so if you have high energy pet I have no problem getting them out for a very long walk or hike!
