I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I.

Carly was so kind and quick to reply to me, including sending photos and updates on his health often. She had all his things collected and ready for me when I came to pick him up. We will be seeing her again someday!
Carley was a good sitter for our energetic puppy. She and her dogs knew what to do with all of his energy. We left him there for a week and didn’t worry about him.
I felt very comfortable leaving my dog for ten days with Carley and her sweet family. They are total animal lovers and made my dog feel like family. Their home is calm, yet entertaining. She kept in touch with me daily. What more can you ask for when you leave town. Would definitely book again. Thank you Carley!
Carley took really good care of Jasper. She kept in touch with us during our entire absence and sent pics and videos. He was definitely well loved and welcomed into her home. We will definitely be return visitors!

Schedule
I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!
Pets
A typical day
We have a conservation area/trail system attached to our neighborhood! I love to take dogs for walks in the woods. I enjoy being outside a lot and will spend sunny days no matter the temperature outside watching the birds in my yard, creating art, or simply photosynthesizing. I love to do crafts and read. You can rest assured that your pup will be sitting on the couch or relaxing in my bed enjoying some needlework or perhaps having a chat over my morning coffee. Errands = rides + pup cups. Our cat Lucy even joins us for car rides every now and again. As an extra energy buster, my personal rescue Rosie is a “forever puppy” even at 5(ish) she still gets into trouble and ways to play, play, PLAY! Scout acts as an aristocratic referee. All in all, we are a silly and sweet home that would love the opportunity to care for your pet with love and compassion while you’re away. They will be treated like family.
