Animal care has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember, starting with caring for my lineup of family pets at a young age. With 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a small practice, I developed a strong foundation in hands on, compassionate care. I earned a degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and went on to complete a Masters degree, where I worked with a wide variety of species. Now, as a PhD candidate, I continue to care for diverse animals, with an emphasis on high quality husbandry, health, and well being. Providing attentive, knowledgeable, and reliable care is always my top priority!

I provide care exclusively in my clients homes to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. Care is tailored to each pets needs and may include feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box or yard cleanup, playtime, and enrichment, along with administering medications if needed.

Carley was phenomenal! During our meet and greet she took the time to learn what Camden is like and how best to take care of him. In her updates is was obvious Camden was having a good time and she has him out sunning with his favorite toy multiple times. He was very happy when I got back. I could not reccomend Carley more!
Carley is a loving, caring and passionate animal person! Her knowledge of all types of animals helps her provide the best care for your pet! Weather she is pulling over to help a turtle in the middle of the road or an injured bird that needs vet care, she’s your girl!! She will love and take care of your pet as if they were her own.
