I've cared for my own pets and the pets of others most of my life. I've been a professional petsitter part-time for the past 18 years, in addition to regularly fostering cats for local shelters. I have substantial experience with cats, dogs and small animals with special needs, dietary or medical. I am very attentive to details, thorough, and sensitive to the needs and emotions of the animals I care for. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years. Therefore, loving and respecting animals is not just a profession for me, it's my philosophy of life.

I have a nice property with a large yard, but it is not enclosed. Because I also have 3 cats, 2 ferrets, and 2 rats, it would be best for your pet if I came to you. I could have a well-behaved dog or cat stay with me who is comfortable with other animals, and not in need of a fenced-in yard.

Carlene did a great job with my bunch. She is punctual, very responsive, and shared pictures of my pets throughout the day. I will be reaching out to her again when I need her services.

Great person and I feel confortable to leave my dog with her, very aware of any needs for my dog and we have a good talk a about his behavior, all the information was always on point and very knowledgeable about pets in general.

My pet situation is difficult to deal with and I have had trouble even getting a sitter… Carlene went above and beyond and was like a dream come true to find. She is a true lover of animals and really makes an effort to get to know and bond with my pets. I could not recommend her more highly!

Schedule
I moved to the area 4 years ago and work full-time in the museum field. I am generally available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. When I am housesitting in someone’s home during the week, I try to have slightly shorter days at work if possible, but your pet may still be left alone for up to eight hours if I am working.
