I moved to the area 4 years ago and work full-time in the museum field. I am generally available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. When I am housesitting in someone’s home during the week, I try to have slightly shorter days at work if possible, but your pet may still be left alone for up to eight hours if I am working.

I have a nice property with a large yard, but it is not enclosed. Because I also have 3 cats, 2 ferrets, and 2 rats, it would be best for your pet if I came to you. I could have a well-behaved dog or cat stay with me who is comfortable with other animals, and not in need of a fenced-in yard.

I love them all! I would like to get to know everything about your furry friend, but especially if he/she has any dietary restrictions or special medical conditions (I am experienced with both) and what his/her favorite toys, treats and activities are so we can do those together!
A typical day
I live on a property with ample space for a dog to walk, run, or play, though it is unfenced. I would enjoy walking your pet around my neighborhood, yours, or even having an adventure at one of the many nearby parks.

I've cared for my own pets and the pets of others most of my life. I've been a professional petsitter part-time for the past 18 years, in addition to regularly fostering cats for local shelters. I have substantial experience with cats, dogs and small animals with special needs, dietary or medical. I am very attentive to details, thorough, and sensitive to the needs and emotions of the animals I care for. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years. Therefore, loving and respecting animals is not just a profession for me, it's my philosophy of life.
