I have been around animals for as long as I remember. I grew up with big dogs like boxers and have had as many as 4 dogs in the house at a time. I have my own Pomeranian who knows over 10 tricks I taught her myself. I also had a cat I cared for on my own and help my mom out with her current cat. I am also experienced with exotic pets like crested geckos, tortoises, snakes, bearded dragons, and ball pythons.

My dogs get plenty of time to run around and play. I make sure they get to play fetch a few times a day and use treat puzzles. Teaching my dog tricks is the best way to stimulate smart dogs like her and she has lots of fun with it. Our cat gets to roam the house freely, only engaging in play when she shows interest. As she does not enjoy being held, she only gets picked up if she absolutely needs moved. Cats deserve their space! All exotic animals get handled as their care instructs and fed when needed.
