Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already care for my own pets daily. I work full-time Tuesday through Friday (with a later shift on Thursdays) and rotating weekends. Until I’m able able to open my work schedule more, I’m fully available on Mondays and typically the 1st and 3rd weekends of each month, which allows me to dedicate quality time to pet visits. For the remainder of March I’m not available on weekends, and in April I’m only available the first weekend. I always do my best to keep my calendar updated so owners know when I’m available.

Right now I’m offering drop-in visits in my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. During visits I make sure pets have fresh food and water (per owners instructions), potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I always try to follow the pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away, and I’m always happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing! I have a 6-month-old Australian Shepherd, so I’m very used to keeping up with active dogs and making sure they get plenty of playtime and attention. In the future, I may be open to dog sitting in my home for dogs that are friendly with other dogs.

I love spending quality time with the pets I care for. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, this can include playtime with toys, games like fetch or tug, mentally stimulating activities, or just giving them attention and affection. I always try to match their routine and what they enjoy most so they feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away.

Hi! My name is Carlee and I’ve grown up with animals my whole life! My childhood dog, Gabby (a miniature dachshund), was already part of the family when I was born and I cared for her through her senior years. After she passed, my parents got two dachshund puppies, Josie and Bailey, who I helped train with potty training, basic commands, and tricks. Now that I’ve moved out, my fiancé and I adopted our Australian Shepherd, Timmy, who I’ve also trained and worked with on more advanced skills. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable caring for dogs that need extra patience as well as high-energy dogs that need someone who can keep up with them. At this time I’m not able to administer medications, but I’m happy to provide lots of attention, playtime, and loving care.
