I work part time and mostly make my own schedule. I try to stay in my local area as much as possible to make myself available to your animals. I offer clients grocery deliveries, laundry, and mail pickup for small fees. I do not charge for house sitting duties like watering plants, taking trash down, or safety checks.

Dogs need frequent exercise for best health. I encourage the couch potatoes to get moving, I walk the hyper ones until they slow down, I'll play fetch or offer indoor interactions as needed. I wash out water bowls daily.

Question Important to know about your pet ahead of time. Write their medication down. It's the one thing I really don't want to mess up.

Most of my coworkers (dogs and cats) like to sniff every bush and pee on every trash can. I like to take my time and let a dog be a dog. They need vitamin d just like us and need outside time and cuddles. They always have a unique personality.

I believe in customer service values. I do what's in the best interest of the animals by allowing them to keep their normal routine. Animals often get stressed when there are changes to their environment so I often ask around what times do they normally get; fed, treats, walks, meds. I like to bring toys that they like and not change anything about their diets. I have learned that communication is key to developing a positive relationship with clients. Im guilty of sending you many pictures of your animals while you're away.

A great two weeks of loving care from Carla! She is a treasure.

Carla is so wonderful - she sends lots of updates and pictures, and her love for animals shines away! Definitely a top tier sitter who I will be very happy to book again and again.

Carla was an amazing sitter and really great to work with! She is a great communicator, prompt to respond, she takes lots of pictures, and gives updates daily! Carla cared for our two pups, bunnies, fish, and inside plants. Hands down the best pet sitter I have ever had! Thanks so much Carla!

This was my first booking with Rover and I was hoping it would go well. Carla came, met my dog, and it was obvious she had a lot of experience. My son ended up coming to town necessitating that I shorten the original booking by two days, but Carla was very gracious about the change. Although I felt we had communicated well, when the time came we ended up having different expectations. My senior dog was left for longer periods of time than I usually leave her and her meal times were off by hours. The first day I finally called my brother to go feed her. Carla's commute time was significant and she had other obligations. Had I know both of those things I would have chosen a closer dog sitter. The time she spent with my dog was very positive, but wondering when she would show up turned out to be a stressful situation for me.
