SF Small Breed Dog Seeking Same!
Do you have a small breed dog with anxiety who needs to board in a secure and gentle home environment? My dog, Daisy, is the same way! We are looking for only small breed companions (up to 25 lbs) to board with us as a regular client. Must live local. NEW CLIENTS: I require a first Meet & greet scheduled with just the owner(s) to see our home and discuss care for your dog. Then a second appointment to drop off your dog for up to 2 hours to see how it goes. These appointments are no charge.

Carla is absolutely wonderful. We went on a a two-week trip overseas and had many things to worry about while we were away, but our sweet pup wasn’t one of them! We knew he was in the best care with Carla. It was super fun and sweet to get her daily updates with how he was doing and all the fun he was having. He thrives when he’s at Carla’s and has the best time with her and all the other pups who come to stay. I’m not sure he wanted to come home 😅 Carla, we’re going to miss you so much 🥹 Thanks for taking such impeccable care of our little buddy!

My girl Darla stayed with Carla over Christmas and I highly recommend Carla for your dog sitting needs! She has great experience with senior dogs and I always feel comfortable that my dog is well cared for. Carla provides timely updates and pictures as well which are great!
Carla does such a great job with my small dogs. I never have to worry that they will be overpowered by large dogs; they are well cared for and I get plenty of pictures of their adventures at Carla's. Would heartily recommend!
Carla is amazing! She is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and she takes care to the next level, really catering to needs of our very anxious mini poodle, even getting up at night with him when he was feeling anxious. She cared for our pup like he was her own. I usually worry when I leave our pup because he struggles so much with separation anxiety. But, I felt very confident leaving him in Carla’s care. He seemed happy to see us but he also seemed like he was very happy being there, which made me very happy! I highly recommend Carla for your small, anxious pups. She’s your gal. She will really tune into your dog and their needs. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am home full time. Flexible schedule to work with yours, including very early morning arrival. My established clients may request an occasional doggy day care. Feeding twice a day. Boarder brings their own food.

Safety, trust & environment
First floor with deck,Ideal for senior, blind or deaf dogs with mobility issues. Looking to have adult small breed boarding companions with my dog for socialization. Accepting senior dogs, but not puppies. Enrichment with small dog sized toys, floor pillows and comforts of home. Crate and crate training provided for night time. Easy access to screened porch and yard.

A typical day
Playtime with toys or relaxing in a choice of dog beds and blanket geared to small breed dogs. Pets enjoy free range in our home, carpeted screened deck and yard to explore. Toys sized for small dogs. I encourage running and exploring in my yard, plus sniffing all the sniffs! Toy hide and seek. Snuffle mats, treat puzzles and lick mats may be used. I provide night time crate and crate training, plus I use basic commands with small dog treats for reward. Boarder will sleep in one of our crates with bedding at night.
