Home Away From Home Dog Boarding
Some of my attributes are: I'm a retired animal lover offering dog boarding in my home. I am patient, nurturing, trustworthy, honest, organized, neat/tidy, good-natured, extremely dependable, mature, energetic and fun. I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with your pet, love taking your dog for walks on our beautiful walking paths around the lake in our community of Tehama Ridge, and love interactive play. Your dog would be in a loving home where they will feel right at home while you're away. I have boarded puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, and administered various medications. I have my own transportation and will pick up and deliver your pet home to most locations. (pick up and drop off are included in my daily fee). I'm retired, so I'm home all day (with the exception of running errands) so your pet feels comforted and safe at home with me, which also helps with pets that experience separation anxiety from their owners. I own my home in the beautiful community of Tehama Ridge in North Fort Worth. I have very secure 6 foot fencing/gates all around our backyard, grass backyard with no pool. I am always out in the back yard supervising your pet when they go out on a potty break. Your pet can roam my home freely, and sleep in his/her bed at night, or if you prefer your pet to be crated at night, I can do that as well.

Carla is an amazing dog sitter! She sent me photos and videos every day and always kept me updated with details about how my dog was doing. Her home is very clean and well prepared to welcome dogs and make them feel safe and comfortable. She treated my dog like her own, even letting her sleep with her in bed. She also added some chicken and vegetables to her food to encourage her to eat, which I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such loving and caring hands. I truly hope Carla will always be available to take care of my girl whenever we travel. I highly recommend her! ❤️🐶

Carla was fantastic and took such good care of our mini poodle. She treated Harvey like her own and even added chicken to his food since he can be a picky eater. Harvey got lots of attention and walks while we were away and we were at ease knowing he was getting such good care. Carla was excellent to work with and sent frequent photos updates. Would absolutely recommend booking with Carla!

Carla is an amazing animal lover! My little guy is a rescue who was severely abused prior to being adopted by me, so he is terrified of everyone. Carla went out of her way to make sure that he was calm and comfortable...so much so that when I went to pick him up, he didn't want to leave! LOL! Coming from his background, that is honestly such a huge feat! I am so grateful for Carla's love and care and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pup-sitter!

Schedule
I am retired and home during the day, so your pet will feel safe and secure while they board with me. It also helps with me being home during the day for pets that need to be let out for more frequent potty breaks!

I have no pets, have a fenced in yard with secure fencing, grassy backyard for play time and potty time, and no pool. So you can rest assured your pet is safe in my home and yard!
A typical day
I take the dogs I'm boarding on 1-2 walks per day (weather permitting). I like to play fetch with dog toys/balls, tug of war with doggie toys, and like to cuddle with lap dogs that love affection. I like to take the dogs I board on our beautiful walking paths that go around our community lake in Tehama Ridge (North Fort Worth).
