Hi! We’re Jim and Carla, and we share our home with our lovely two-year-old dog, Marlow, an Australian Labradoodle. We both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Dogs staying with us have free roam of the house, but we’re very happy to personalise this if your dog prefers quieter spaces or a more structured setup. We have room for a crate if that’s part of their routine, and we can provide separate areas for dogs to eat and sleep comfortably. We’re lucky to have great local walks right on our doorstep, perfect for daily outings, and at weekends we love longer walks too — ideal for energetic dogs who need that extra exercise. Marlow is a 17kg, medium-sized dog who is very well trained, calm, and quiet around the house. She’s friendly, affectionate, and playful, with a gentle, easy-going nature around other dogs. She’s not pushy or dominant, and we’re always careful to make introductions positive, calm, and well supervised. We understand how important trust is when leaving your dog with someone else, and we know every dog has their own personality and needs. We’re very open to discussing routines, boundaries, and preferences in advance so we can provide a calm, flexible, ‘home from home’ experience where your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved.
