I recently relocated to Switzerland for my PhD and have a flexible schedule. Weekends are when I'm most available for house-sitting, walks, and check-ins, and I can also do weekdays if we coordinate timing in advance.

Since I offer care in your home rather than mine, my focus is on keeping your pet comfortable in the space they already know. I stick to the routine you give me for feeding, walks, medication, and playtime, so nothing feels disruptive while you're away. For dogs, that means walks, outdoor time, and plenty of attention and play. For cats, it's feeding, fresh water, clean litter, and company on their terms. Whether I'm doing a quick drop-in or staying over for house sitting, I'll keep your home secure, follow your instructions closely, and send you updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well looked after.

I can take care of all breeds and have no strong preference for one. I have experience with golden retrievers, chihuahuas, and pit bulls, but my dogs back in Mexico are mixed breeds!
A typical day
The activities depend on the pet and what they enjoy, since every animal is different. For dogs, I love long walks, exploring new routes, playing fetch, and working in any tricks or training you'd like to keep their mind busy. For cats, it's toys, feather wands, chasing games, or just a cozy spot and some quiet company if that's more their style. Whatever your pet is into, I'll match their energy and make sure they have fun while you're away.

Hello! My name is Carla and I'm a dog and cat lover with over 15 years of experience looking after all kinds of pets. Whether you need house drop-ins, walks, or day visits, I'll make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and gets as much exercise and play time as they need. For dogs, I'll take them out for walks as needed, keep up with play time and any training you'd like, and of course make sure they get plenty of belly rubs and love! I'm also happy to care for elder dogs and give them the best quality time while you're away. For cats, I'll handle feeding, litter cleaning and water, and as much play or quiet company as they're in the mood for. I look forward to meeting your pet!
