Carla was absolutely wonderful! My dog came home clean, happy, and clearly very well cared for. She kept us updated throughout the stay and sent lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. Our dog especially loved running around and playing in the fenced in yard! Carla was super nice, friendly, and pleasant to communicate with. I felt completely comfortable leaving our dog with her and would definitely book with her again anytime! Highly recommend!

This was our second time booking with Carla and we would Definitley book again. Very appreciative of her taking care of our dog Winnie.

Unfortunately, we do not recommend using Carla as a pet sitter. Our concerns are as follows: Carla advertised that she watches one animal at a time, has a fenced-in backyard and works from home so she can give her pet guests plenty of attention. Our miniature poodle had been bathed and groomed 4 days before his trip to Carla's house. At the drop off Carla met us in the driveway. We should have asked to see the yard at the very least. Judging from the unkempt front yard, I was concerned that the backyard too would be overgrown. Our suspicions were confirmed when Carla sent us a picture of our dog in the yard. The grass was easily as high as his belly. We were away for ten days. She kept contact and sent pictures. She was approachable and kind. At the conclusion of our ten day trip we picked up our boy. He smelled terrible; the smell of dirty wet hounds and dog feces. Our boy's belly hair was dirty and matted. (Keep in mind he was freshly groomed and the belly hair was quite short.) The stench was so bad that after our 45 minute drive home we not only needed to give an immediate bath to our pet, we also needed to wash our clothes as they began to smell as he did. After bathing him we noticed his (brabd new) bed was covered in dog urine and had feces stains in it. That went straight to the trash. We then began unpacking his little suitcase, which had his toys, treats, bowls and food. The food was packed separately and was the only thing that seemed to have been unpacked. His treats were never opened. His doggy dental treats had never been opened. His toys and his dishes appeared to have never been unpacked. We cannot imagine what he was eating out of. We were simultaneously sad and angry. Upon further inspection we noticed the back of his little suitcase was also covered in urine stains. For two days following his return from Carla's house, he had diarrhea. Nothing seemed to help, so we took him to his regular vet. They did blood work and prescribed two medications. If he was sick during the 10 days, we never heard anything from the sitter. Before leaving, I left with her the vet tech and groomer phone number, should any concern happen. Our experience with Carls was not good. But what truly frightens and angers us is what our dog's experience might have been. We'll never know. Carla may be a nice person, but after this experience we will certainly not use or recommend her services. We "may" use Rover in the future if the sitter has references from people we know personally.

Carla was wonderful with Finn! He has stayed with her twice now, and both experiences have been great. She made me feel completely comfortable, but most importantly Finn who is a bit clingy and needs lots of attention. Would definitely recommend Carla for anyone needing pet care :)

Great experience with Kylo’s sitter! She took great care of him, kept me updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. I’d definitely book with her again! 🐶❤️
