I've owned cats for 30+ years and couldn't imagine life without them. When my daughter was young, we volunteered at the local SPCA shelter together. I pet sit for friends and neighbors regularly, both cats and dogs (mostly walking), and can provide references upon request. I am currently taking a course offered by Sierra College related to both feline and canine health and behavior as I believe it will make me both a better sitter and animal owner. I work/volunteer part-time from home with my two rescue cats so have plenty of availability and flexibility during the day to care for your furry babies. I am also a hike leader and love to walk, so would be happy to exercise your dog whenever you cannot. I'm reliable, honest, and happy to help with additional chores such as watering plants and bringing in mail during your absence. I would be prefer to arrange a meet and greet beforehand at no additional charge. My main preference is cat sitting your kitties in their own home. I know with my own cats they do not like to be uprooted when I'm absent. I can drop in several times a day, play with your cats, administer medication orally if needed, and clean litter boxes. I can also check up on your dog and take him/her for a walk during the day if you are at work.
