I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, and as a full time work from home mom, I’m present throughout the day to give pets steady attention and a predictable routine. I’m comfortable managing different temperaments, monitoring behavior, and keeping dogs feeling safe, calm, and loved. Our home includes a large private fenced backyard where dogs can explore, play, and relax safely. We are attentive to hydration and comfort — especially during Georgia’s hot summers — and we make sure pets always have fresh water and a cool place to rest. Every dog is treated like family, with patient, gentle, and reliable care.

Thank you, thank you! Carla and her family were so welcoming. From the meet and greet, our pooch Jimmy was super intrigued by her two pups. They played in the large, fenced lawn and got to know each other. Carla explained how she cares for her guest dogs left us with piece of mind. Then Carla send us photos and videos of Jimmy having fun, napping and enjoying his mini vacation! I'd highly recommend Carla. She has a wonderful dog friendly home, and a loving family that helps make your pup feel at home. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. Dogs enjoy morning potty breaks, midday outdoor time, structured play, and quiet rest periods. Feeding times stay consistent, and I follow each dog’s usual habits so their stay feels familiar and comfortable.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. Dogs are rarely left alone and enjoy supervised time indoors and outdoors in a calm, clean, pet‑friendly home. We’re a family who loves helping other families with their fur babies. Your pet will be treated with care, respect, and plenty of love — boarding with us is our way of giving back and teaching our kids kindness and responsibility. We only board one guest dog at a time (siblings accepted). With my two friendly resident dogs, this keeps the home peaceful and allows focused attention for smooth introductions and a low‑stress happy stay since we do not crate our dogs. Our fully fenced backyard provides secure outdoor play, and inside I tailor care to each dog’s needs — slow introductions, quiet spaces, or extra affection. I monitor behavior, hydration, and comfort throughout the day to ensure every pet feels safe and at ease.

A typical day
Dogs start their morning with fresh air and a relaxed wake up in the fenced backyard. After breakfast and water checks, they settle in near me while I work. Throughout the day, I take breaks for supervised outdoor time — exploring, sniffing, playing fetch, or simply enjoying the sunshine. Midday usually includes rest and light enrichment like toys, treats, or cuddles. In the afternoon, we head outside again or go for a walk if needed. Evenings are calm and cozy, with predictable routines that help dogs wind down after dinner. Each day is designed to feel safe, structured, and enjoyable.
