I work from home full‑time, so pet care is naturally part of my daily routine. I take regular breaks to let the dogs out, refresh water, and give them supervised playtime in our fenced backyard. Pets are rarely alone, and I can easily adjust my schedule to match their needs.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Pets are rarely left alone and always have supervised time both indoors and outdoors. We maintain a calm, clean, pet‑friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel secure. We have a large fully fenced private backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play without the risk of wandering or exposure to unfamiliar animals. Inside the home, pets have access to comfortable resting areas, cool spaces during warm weather, and a peaceful environment with no overcrowding. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs, whether that means slow introductions, quiet time, or extra affection. If your doggy shows stress, we have doggy gates to separate him/her from others and will minimize anxiety by providing a cozier comfort area with lots of love. I keep a close eye on behavior, hydration, and comfort throughout the day. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away.

Information Carla B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog requires any special considerations so that we can provide the best care possible for. Our preference is for non-shedding breeds since we have family members with allergies in the house, but we are happy to care for other breeds.

A typical day

A typical day in my home is calm, structured, and full of supervised fun. We start the morning by letting the dogs out for fresh air and a slow wake‑up in our fenced backyard. After breakfast and water checks, I settle into work while the dogs relax nearby. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks for backyard play sessions — whether that’s exploring, sniffing around, playing fetch, or just enjoying the sunshine. I always supervise outdoor time and make sure everyone stays hydrated and comfortable. Midday is usually a mix of quiet rest time and gentle enrichment activities like toys, treats, or cuddles. In the afternoon, we head back outside for another round of play or a walk if needed. Evenings are calm and cozy, with plenty of affection, routine, and a peaceful environment to help dogs wind down after dinner. My goal is to make each day feel safe, fun, and familiar for your pet.

Loving Pet Care from Mom

Pet care experience

I've had dogs my whole life and currently I’m a full‑time work‑from‑home mom, which means I’m always present and available to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I care for my own dogs daily, so I’m used to maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and loved. We have a large private fenced backyard where dogs can play, explore, and get their energy out safely. I’m very attentive to keeping fresh, clean water available at all times — especially during Georgia’s hot summers — and I’m always checking in on pets to make sure they’re hydrated, comfortable, and happy. I’m patient, gentle, and detail‑oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Whether your dog needs playtime, cuddles, structure, or a calm environment, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care.

Carla is a fierce dog lover. She treats our dog as if he’s her own so it soon became clear to us that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. If you are looking for peace of mind while away from your furry one, Carla is the person you need, hands down. She’s incredibly patient not to mention organized and reliable so whatever their needs or schedule, rest assured she’ll stay on top of it. I really don’t say this lightly: you will really like Carla but your dog will absolutely love her. Terry

Leaving my doggies with someone else has proven to be the most difficult thing to do year after year when we travel. My Vizsla boys are family to us and they have been spoiled through the years! We are so happy we found Carla. She is attentive, professional, and clearly loves dogs. It brings me so much peace of mind knowing they are in such great hands. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be happier with the care my pup received at the Buford's house! They genuinely love animals and treat them like family. It's such a relief to have someone that I trust to watch my pup when I'm away. I highly recommend their pet-sitting services and will definitely be booking again!

I cannot recommend Carla highly enough as a pet sitter! she has a genuine love for animals. She takes the time to understand my dogs' needs, ensuring they felt comfortable and cared for while I was away. She provided not just feeding and walks, but also plenty of playtime and affection. I received daily updates and photos, which reassured me that my dogs were happy and well taken care of. Carla is responsible, reliable, and my dogs love her. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and caring for your pets, you found the right person!
