I have over eight years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to gentle senior pets. My love for animals started at a young age and grew through volunteering at a local animal shelter in Germany, where I walked dogs, socialized and played with cats, and helped make their time there as comfortable as possible. Since then, I’ve provided a wide range of pet care services, including boarding, walking, feeding, grooming, and administering medication for family and friends. I’ve also cared for cats through in-home visits, making sure they received plenty of food, playtime, and affection while their owners were away. I’m comfortable with pets of all breeds and temperaments, and I take pride in giving each one the patience, attention, and love they deserve. Currently, I share my home with one dog and two cats, all of whom I’ve raised since they were young — giving me daily, firsthand experience in training, enrichment, and long-term pet care. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly enjoy. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands.

Wir haben Carla beim Spaziergang mit mehreren Hunden beobachtet. Sie war sehr aufmerksam und hat aufgepasst dass die Tiere keine Köder aufnehmen. Das passiert hier öfters. Und auch Kletten hat sie sofort entfernt. Wir haben sie angesprochen und erfahren dass nur einer davon ihr gehört und sie die anderen beiden nur zeitweise betreut. Deshalb haben wir sie gefragt, ob sie auch unsere beiden Hunde ausführen möchte. Sie hat zugesagt und die Tiere mehrere Jahre betreut. Sie hat sie nach dem Spaziergang immer nach Zecken untersucht und diese entfernt und die Pfoten gereinigt. Sie hat das immer spielerisch gestaltet, so dass die Hunde keinen Stress hatten. Auch hat sie die Tiere dazu gebracht, beim Schneiden der Krallen still zu halten. Das haben wir vorher nie geschafft. Und auch bei der Ernährung der Hunde hat sie uns gute Vorschläge gemacht. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit haben die Hunde sie akzeptiert und sich immer auf sie gewartet um ausgeführt zu werden. Sie hat mit ihnen auch Ausdauer- und Geschicklichkeitstraining gemacht. Dadurch wurden die Hunde in der Wohnung viel ausgeglichener. Wir waren mit Carla sehr zufrieden und können sie wärmstens empfehlen. Sie hat ein Herz für Tiere.

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently staying at home and I start each morning walking my dog and spending time feeding and playing with my two cats. Throughout the day, I’ll make time for walks, playtime, and check-ins with the pets I care for, whether that’s, visits or walks in the neighborhood or a nearby park. Because I already plan my day around caring for animals, it’s easy for me to include additional pets in my schedule. I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, keeping them active, and making sure they’re comfortable and happy while their owners are away.

When I care for pets during visits or walks, I always focus on their comfort, safety, and happiness. During walks, I make sure each dog gets the right amount of exercise for their age and energy level, and I pay close attention to their surroundings to keep them safe and relaxed. I take time for play, positive attention, and plenty of love along the way. For in-home visits, I follow each pet’s normal routine — feeding them on schedule, refreshing water, cleaning up as needed, and giving them the affection and playtime they’re used to. Whether it’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company, I make sure every pet feels cared for and content until their owner returns.

When I’m caring for your furry friends, I love to make sure they’re happy, engaged, and comfortable. For dogs, that might mean nice walks around the neighborhood, sniffing adventures, games of fetch or tug-of-war, or simply relaxing together with some belly rubs. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, cozy cuddle sessions, and giving them plenty of attention (or space!) depending on their mood.
