Availability
We both work from home and we each have home offices so the doggies are free to roam the house and they often venture between our two offices. We take them out for potty breaks every 1 to 2 hours in our large fenced yard. They are supervised the entire time they are playing outside

WE CAN ONLY TAKE DOG BREEDS THAT ARE 30 POUNDS OR LESS. We are not able to take those larger breeds even as a puppy. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN'T HOST ANY DOGS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN NEUTERED OR SPAYED. __What is Required__ Flea & Tick: All dogs must be on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure you treat your pet now and continue monthly applications throughout the rest of the year. We have the right to refuse any dog that has a flea/tick infestation. Vaccinations: For the safety of your dog, it is vital that he/she be current on all vaccines. Having your pet vaccinated is the best and least costly way of preventing disease. Without proper vaccination, he/she will be left unprotected. Please bring a copy of latest vaccination records, either on the day of the meet and greet or the day you drop off. We will make a copy to keep for our records. Dog Profile: Make sure to fill out your dog's "Profile" on Rover so that we can have a better understanding of him/her. Give detailed feeding instructions. Provide emergency contacts and vet information, especially if you will not have phone service while on vacation. What to bring: Food, food bowl, collar, and vaccine record. Dog's regular food, enough food for the entire stay, and a little extra in case you have a flight delay, etc. Please do not switch his/her food a few days before coming to our home because changing the food abruptly can cause diarrhea in some dogs. Bring food bowl, we have plenty of water bowls. We have extras but prefer you to bring his/her regular food bowl. Dog collar with name & rabies tags is required __Things to Keep in Mind__ Meet & Greet: We always offer a free Meet & Greet to new potential clients. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and to see where your pup will be staying. It allows me to connect with your dog and make sure he/she has a successful stay with us. For those visiting out of town, we can communicate by phone and determine if this is the right place for your pup. Also, there are times when you have an emergency and are unable to do a meet and greet. We will try to do our best to accommodate if this happens. Spay/Neutered: It is highly recommended that all dogs be spayed and neutered due to the nature of the care we provide. We can not accept females during their heat cycle. Males that are intact and mark everywhere in our home or show possessive tendencies towards a particular dog will not be allowed back. Just to clarify-some male dogs may start sniffing around and might pee the first time they enter my home. In most cases, it only happens once and it is not a problem throughout the rest of the stay. Some females can also pee mostly from excitement this is also understandable. Most dogs that are neutered at a young age will rarely exhibit any marking or humping behavior. Pups do have accidents and that is not a problem. I always have bleach, urine remover, water and paper towels handy to clean up in such instances. Senior Dogs: We are happy to provide care for older dogs or those with special medical or health needs.

Pet care experience
We have had dogs most our lives and are familiar with several types of breeds. Our house is a dog house and we treat our puppies as our babies. We would love to take care of yours as he/she was one of our own. Your dog will have the best care possible. Our animals are allowed on the furniture and in our beds, but we will follow your instructions and your dog's needs. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN'T HOST ANY DOGS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN NEUTERED OR SPAYED. Our dogs have had some health issues and surgeries, so we are experienced with special needs dogs. Torn knees, collapsed trache, and cysts have been some struggles we have faced over the past years. Last-minute bookings are welcomed if we are available. Daycare and weekly vacations—no dog-sitting opportunity is too small.
Reviews

Great place for small dogs. Safe and secure.
I was finally able to enjoy a vacation without worrying about the well-being of my small dog. Carl & Nancy V. are over-the-top responsible and thoughtful and caring pet-sitters. Knowing my beloved dog was able to run loose with the pet-sitters' own small dogs throughout their house and backyard and that Carl & Nancy sent photos and videos to me each day while I was on vacation--all put me at ease. I HIGHLY recommend Carl & Nancy V. as pet-sitters and I will rely on their wonderful service in the future.

Carl & Nancy were amazing with our 2 mini schnauzers. They are responsive and so accommodating to you and your pets !! Our Axel & Ava loved their pups and Axel and Carl bonded quickly. They show love and attention to your pets like they are their own babies. I received great updates and photos and it was amazing ! I will certainly be a return client with them and would highly recommend them to take amazing care of your fur babies 🐶

Our 2 mini schnauzers had so much fun with Carl and Nancy and their pups. They loved playing and running around in their backyard. They also received cuddles and love from them while there. We definitely will be booking with them again.
