I have had dogs when I was a child and when my children were growing up. My most recent was Bella who we loved for 16 years. I'll take pictures of your four-footed-furry family members each day. I will not take them to a dog park.

Carl was great! Chili can be a bit nervous with new dogs, and was a bit skittish for the meet & greet he scheduled, but when we brought her for the actual dog sitting, she was already more comfortable with Carl's other dogs. He sent lots of pictures and communicated really well – would book again!
Ray has adjusted so well to going to Carl’s for daycare. As soon as we cross the lights, he starts his car zoomies because he knows he’s close by and he’s going to get to see Carl and his doggy buddies. There is zero anxiety at drop off, Ray waltzes in without a look back at me which is so reassuring. Carl sends several pics of Ray’s day and I feel so relieved to know that Ray is active and happy and has the opportunity to be part of a little pack with the other dogs. We’re so happy we found Carl!
My Ray is a very nervous boy with a lot of separation anxiety so I’m always nervous leaving him with a new person but Carl was wonderful. Ray was very comfortable during our meet and greet and was super excited to get to Carl’s front door when I dropped him off for his first day yesterday. Carl let me know he settled in reasonably well and took several pictures throughout the day showing Ray happy and relaxed. When I arrived for pick up, Ray was perfectly content, not amped up on my arrival or ready to rush out. That speaks volumes to me. Ray can’t wait to go back and I’m so relieved to have found a safe, happy place for him while at work.

Second time Frankie has stayed with Carl and everything was great. I highly recommend him to others looking for a pet sitter. It is so nice to have photos to see what she gets up to during her stay. We will for sure use Carl again the next time we need a sitter for Frankie!
Carl was so great with Frankie, I am so happy to have found him to watch her when we are away. He sent photo updates and she looked so happy! Such a relief to have found someone where she feels right at home and is treated like family 🥰

Schedule
I work from home so I am available to keep the dog company and take them for walks around the neighbourhood. They will also be able to play in our fully fenced back yard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in backyard where shade is always available. I have extra dog beds where dogs can hang out in comfort. Water dish will always be available. Our cat, Oscar, is treated for fleas every month. Note that the main living area is 8 steps up from the front entrance, and the backyard is 8 steps down from the deck. If your dog has an issue with stairs, this would not be a good fit for them.

A typical day
We can play fetch in the back yard and go for walks around the local neighbourhoods. if you provide toys they like we will use those too.
