I’ve owned cats all my life and truly believe a home isn’t complete without a pet. I adore my two boys — a young all-white cat and a tuxedo — and my love for animals has only grown over the years. Along with cat care, I’ve walked and house-sat several dogs both on and off Rover. I’m an active person who loves taking dogs on walks, trails, and park adventures based on your comfort level. Every pet I meet is treated like my own! 🐾💛

Great services. Carissa is really patient and thoughtful taking care of my cats. And she always tries best to do all care stuff and asks me if she has any concerns. She sent me many photos during the drop-in visit and my cats are really comfortable with her, even the timid one. I really appreciate her help while I am out of town. And I will select her service again if I am out of town in the future.
This is the second time we have had Carissa care for our cats while we are away. She is PHENOMENAL!! We have used Rover a lot and had many sitters over the years. Carissa is hands down the BEST!
This was my first experience with Rover. Carissa was better than I could have hoped for in caring for my dogs! The pictures she sent helped me adjust to being separated from them and they certainly looked happy!
Carissa took wonderful care of my cat, Jiji. I really appreciated that she was open to a meet and greet before my trip, and she was very understanding and accommodating when I needed to extend my trip and requested her services for an extra day. She is an attentive, trustworthy sitter and I’m so grateful for the care she provided for Jiji!
Carissa is the best of the best!! She treated our two cats like they were her own while we were away. Her communication was great and we came home to a clean house and two well cared for babies. Highly recommend!!

I’m currently working full time so my availability for dogs is limited during the week. My hours I am available M-F would be before or after 8:30am-4:30pm. I have a small fenced yard but with access to safe streets if leashed walks are asked for! Unfortunately my cats are hesitant with accepting other dogs in their home but am willing to watch them in yours if overnights are necessary.

For dogs, mornings often begin with invigorating walks through local parks, providing ample opportunities for exercise and exploration. We engage in interactive games like fetch or tug-of-war to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. For our feline friends, I create engaging indoor environments by setting up climbing areas or window seats, allowing them to observe the outdoors safely. Interactive play sessions with feather wands or laser pointers are also incorporated to satisfy their hunting instincts. Additionally, I introduce puzzle feeders and scent-based enrichment activities to challenge their minds and keep them entertained. By customizing activities to suit each pet’s preferences and energy levels, I ensure that your pets remain happy, healthy, and content throughout the day.
