Hi there, My name is Carissa and I have been caring for animals for 15 years now from dogs to harp seals. I am energetic and love hiking and walking, but I am also a good snuggle buddy if need be. I do not mind stopping in to administer medications or just for company and a pee break. We have a fenced yard and a dog friendly house. I love dogs of all sizes. I help run an animal shelter called Beagle Paws. I have two dogs of my own a 1 year old beagle and an 13 year old mixed breed. I love dogs of any breed or size, age or breed. Our puppy, Maud, loves coming to Carissa's! (We know this because of how hard her tail wags when we arrive each time!) She gets plenty of exercise and fun with Carissa's dog, Hershey, and we feel confident knowing Carissa will make sure she's safe, happy and having a well-balanced day :)
Our dog, Maud, had a great few days at Carissa's! Carissa made sure Maud was exercised, well fed and cared for. We appreciated the updates and photos throughout the day, and were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Maud was cared for. We will definitely board with Carissa again!
Will definitely be booking Carissa again. The updates with pics allowed us to enjoy our event knowing our pup was in good hands and having fun playing with Carissa’s pups. Our Walter came home happy and tired out from having fun!
Sammy had a fun day at Carissa’s with her 2 doggies. She has a nice big fenced back yard with plenty of room to run and play. It felt great to leave him for the day and not worry about him, and he came home and was tired.

Carrisa is fantastic! She was very communicative and sent updates throughout the day. Our pup had a blast playing with her dogs, and came home tired and pleased as punch. Carissa's fenced in yard offered a secure but fun area to run around in, and we felt comfortable leaving her with Carissa for the day. We will definitely be booking again with her!

Schedule
I am currently on maternity leave with a 6 month old baby so am home most of the day and enjoy daily walks and lots of play time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard an two gated porches at both entrances of our home. When fireworks or storms occur I make sure dogs are leashed when exiting the house.

A typical day
I love to stimulate energetic dogs with play time, time in the yard and daily walks. If you dog prefers a more laid back day that is okay too small walks around the yard or neighborhood can be adjusted.
