Hello! I am Carissa. I have been pet sitting since I was in elementary school. I have always had cats in my life, as well as dogs of all sizes (from a Chihuahua, to a Collie). My mom is a veterinarian so I know a thing or two about caring for animals. I also worked in her clinic for a bit, so I’m good at handling pets, bottle feeding, administering pills and shots, and noticing when something is wrong. I recently lost my cat, who was almost 19 years old that I had rescued as a kitten. He had kidney problems, so I gave him pills and subcutaneous fluids daily and am quite comfortable with that. I also used to volunteer at a feral cat shelter in Los Angeles. I am great at managing even the most stressed and aggressive cats, these don’t scare me at all. I am excited to meet your furry friend! I send lots of pictures because I know how much that means to me when my own baby is being cared for. I like to do a meet and greet (free of cost) beforehand to get to know your individual needs.
