I do work full-time, but we can talk schedules to see how flexible I can be that week! I obviously have a dog of my own, but my bf and I usually have alternating schedules to adhere to her! (He’s also available on his off days if you’re comfortable to do what’s needed for a drop in/walk)

I am currently not accepting any boarding because I am renting with my boyfriend until we can move into a house of our own! I am very watchful of pets because I want only the best for them and the peace of mind for you. Leash always outside, very mindful of surroundings, I do not let your dogs interact with others (even if you say its okay- its more of a personal thing I don't like to do). If you’d like for our dogs to meet and see if they mesh well for play dates- I’d love to chat about it!

Please let me know if your dog has anything I should know about! I’ve watched dogs with separation anxiety, reactive dogs, dogs on medication, and extremely high-energy dogs! Even the smallest things a heads-up would just be great!!

Hanging out with the dog while they acclimate to the new environment is very important to me. I understand how scary it can be to an owner to have a stranger watch your best friend, and I just want the best for them so whatever toys they like or activities they like- you bet we will be spending time doing them!

Hi! My name is Carissa, I am a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina. I'm originally from Pennsylvania! I’ve lived in downtown Eugene, OR ; Miami, FL ; Columbia, SC ; and now Georgia! I’ve hosted and have had multiple house visits with other dogs and cats! I’ve watched dogs ranging from a mini daschund to a great pyrenees! I grew up with a golden retriever and 2 cats, and now my family in Pennsylvania just lost our pitbull blue heeler mix (she was my absolute best friend). Some of my favorite hobbies include: reading, eating, taking photos, binge watching shows, and exercising. I've done daily walks for a dachshund while living in Miami, have hosted a bunch in Oregon, I had a weekly dog I’d daycare for and other bookings in Georgia, as well as my repeat pups and cats from Columbia! I have a little (lol) pup of my own! We rescued her from the shelter back in September, and she truly has become my soul dog. You can view her info on my profile I am pretty sure- she’s a pitbull Great Dane! Please send me a message and I will get back very quickly if I can or can’t! My schedule is fairly flexible- I do work full time.

Carissa did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away from home. She communicated well and my cat was very comfortable and playful with her which means a lot because she is usually pretty shy.
Carissa is the best sitter we could ever ask for! It was so relaxing to know our home and animals were perfectly taken care of while we were gone. She truly treated them like her own and we came back to a house even cleaner than we left it. I can’t recommend her enough!!
Carissa was the best!! She was super communicative and sent photos and updates, which gave us such peace of mind. Very kind and patient with our dogs, and I could tell they were a big fan of her too. I couldn’t have asked for someone better to take care of our babies!
Carissa was fantastic with our dog and we felt we left our pup in great hands. We appreciated the daily photo updates and her clear and consistent communication. Would highly recommend Carissa to anyone and will be a repeat customer
