To care for the pets in my own home, we have a designated fenced in yard for them to play and do their business in. For clients pets, the dogs I've watched all had fenced in yards for me to watch them play if they want to go outside.

If you dog has any medication or medical conditions, it would be nice to be made aware of them. Though that shouldn't be an issue nor will it impact my ability to pet sit.
A typical day
I love being around dogs, walking them, playing with them, and even just chilling on the couch with them. I can handle both mellow and high-energy dogs.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs myself for 9 years which I walk and take care of. I've also been petting neighbors pets off and on for about 9 and a half years. I did a lot of pet sitting in middle and high school, and now I'm looking to get back into it.
Reviews
This was my first time using Rover and she made it such a wonderful experience. My dog can be difficult, and she handled her with no problems. I will be using her again.
When I needed a pet caregiver, I knew my dog, Chelsea, was in good hands with Carissa. She is trustworthy and reliable. I especially appreciated that she was responsive, even when I needed help on short notice.
