Animal Lover!

Hey there! My name is Carissa and I have been raised around dogs my whole childhood. I love working with all different kinds of doggies. I immensely enjoy my time with them! Currently, I have three inside kitties (just added a kitten found on the side of stadium!) and one outside kitty , but I am NOT just a cat person! I love all animals! I graduated high school in St Charles early, jumped right into community college, and moved up here to finish my bachelors in psychology. I’ve always wanted to help people and now I have the pleasure of helping people with their sweet tiny souls. I’ve had the opportunity of taking care of cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, fish, bearded dragons, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, mice, snakes, and more! I’m always open to learn how to take care of any other animal you have in your family. I would love the opportunity to take care of your babies. I have been a pet care provider for over almost three years now and it is my full time job! I recently started my own LLC for pet sitting :) I would be happy to provide updates and pictures of your pet while you are out on a vacation or a weekend get away or just stuck at work. I promise your family members will have fun and be safe with me! 😁 I look forward to talking to you! :) *the fee projected to you from rover is not always your total. Please reach out to me to discuss. Also, please be aware, they take a 20% cut from what you pay. Kindly keep this in mind. I am flexible to your budget, but I would like to make that clear as they do not 🙃

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I care for the pets that I am trusted with, by ensuring that they are safe, fed, and feeling loved! I constantly have my eye on all pets to ensure their activities are safe and are not a threat to their health. I also do not allow them to interact with other outside pets to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Carissa is a great communicator and has taken great care of our cats! Even my scaredy cat comes out of hiding to see her when she visits.

ROVER QUESTION: HOW DOES PET CARE FIT INTO YOUR DAILY OR WEEKLY ROUTINE? Pet care fits into my daily routine as it is an important part of my life. I have been so lucky to take on this role as my main job.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Carissa can host up to 16 drop-ins per day
I would like to know vet information (which Rover requests of you anyway), a back up contact if you are going out of town and your signal may be spotty, where food is, how much, where the treats are, if they have a limit on treats, how they handle when walking, how they do with other dogs if we might encounter them on walks, anything important about their personality, if they have sensitive zones that they do not like to be petted on, if they have any medical conditions that I need to be concerned about or keep an eye on. Anything else that I might need to know is welcome.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
