I’ve always been the person who ends up spending more time with dogs than people. 😊 I have about 2 years of experience caring for dogs through family, friends and clients, and I have my own dog who has taught me so much about patience, routines and understanding dogs for who they are. I have experience with small and large dogs, high-energy dogs, seniors, anxious dogs, strong pullers and multiple dogs at once. I’m very active, so I’m happy to keep up with dogs who need lots of exercise, but I’m just as happy with a chill pup who wants company and cuddles. I’m very careful about following routines, feeding instructions and dietary restrictions. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with dogs and will treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. ❤️

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and routine are extremely important to me. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding at a certain time, dietary restrictions, medications, exercise or house rules. I’m also very careful about what I give dogs and prefer safe, durable toys and healthy, usually single-ingredient treats (with your permission, of course!). I always check collars and harnesses before walks and adjust outdoor activities for extreme heat or cold. If anything ever seems wrong, I’ll contact you right away, keep you updated and follow your instructions for veterinary or emergency care. You can also expect regular photos and updates so you know your pet is happy and being well cared for. ❤️

Carina was absolutely amazing with Hennessy and Brandy! 🐾❤️ I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care, and it was so nice being able to relax and not worry about them. She was reliable, caring, and clearly treated them like they were her own. Both dogs were happy and well taken care of, which means everything to me. I would 100% trust Carina with them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone wonderful to care for their pets!
Carina was great with our dogs. She took them on a number of walks (3 in the single day she had them). She also went above and beyond and brushed one of our dogs which was something we didn’t ask for or have any expectations of her. Would definitely recommend and use Carina again!
Carina watched our two dogs Ghost and Duke for a week and a half and she was great with them! They’re both very high energy dogs and she handled them no problem. Ghost is obsessed with fetch and she spent lots of time outside playing with him and keeping them both busy. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. She kept us updated while we were away and the dogs were always happy and well taken care of. It made us feel so much better knowing they were in good hands while we were gone. We would definitely have her watch them again!
We booked Carina for a the long weekend for our two beagles, Lucky and Molly. She was fantastic! She made sure the dogs were well taken care of, and by the photos she sent us, they sure were. She took them on walks, played with them outside and made sure they were fed at the times I instructed her to. When we got back, the bed sheets were stripped, the floor was vacuumed and everything was spotless. There was nothing for us to worry about and the dogs were happy which is all that matters. I will definitely be using Carina again. I would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
I work full-time from home Monday to Friday, which gives me lots of flexibility for walks and drop-ins throughout the day, especially in the mornings, around lunch and in the evenings. If I’m house sitting, I can also work from your home, so I’m able to spend plenty of time with your pets while you’re away. I’m also available on weekends!

- Tell me everything about your pup! I’d love to know their normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, allergies or dietary restrictions, medications, energy level and leash habits. Please also let me know how they are around other dogs and people, as well as any fears, triggers or behaviours I should know about. I’d also love to know their favourite things — toys, treats, activities, walking routes or even their favourite spot to cuddle! The more I know, the more I can keep things feeling normal and comfortable for them while you’re away.
