Information Carin L. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that i should prepare for. I prefer breeds that are friendly towards other dogs and people. Below are the questions I typically ask. Feel free to copy & paste if you need to bring along a cheat sheet. • What is your fur baby’s usual routine for going potty? How does he/she let you know when he/she needs to go? • What is your fur baby’s usual meal schedule (How much and at what time)? • Is your fur baby used to being left alone? For how long? • What time does your fur baby usually go to bed and wake up? Where does he/she usually sleep? • Is your fur baby allowed on the bed or furniture? • Does your fur baby have any favorite toys or games? • What dog food does your fur baby eat? Please be specific. • Does your fur baby need special additives in his food (e.g., probiotics, omega-3s, etc.)? • Does your fur baby have any health issues (e.g., arthritis, allergies, etc.)? • Does your fur baby take medication? How often? How is it administered? Do they take the medication well? • What motivates your fur baby? (Food, Toy, etc.) • What commands does your fur baby know? How do you get him to drop something? To come when called? • Does your fur baby have any quirks that are normal behaviors for him/her (e.g., funny noises he/she makes)? • Does your fur baby have food aggression? How does Your fur baby do with other dogs? Any problems in the past? ** • Does your fur baby have any particular people-related aversions or fears (e.g. men, children, wheels, hats, etc.)? ** • Does your fur baby have any “naughty” behaviors, (e.g., getting into the trash, chewing, marking, digging holes, trying to escape, etc.)? ** • Is your fur baby crate-trained? • Where does your fur baby stay when he/she is home alone? • Does your fur baby have any special fears? What seems to help? • Has your fur baby experienced separation anxiety in the past? Under what circumstances? What helped? ** • Does your fur baby tend to run away or try to get out of the yard? ** ** No answer here is a disqualifier, and I don’t judge clients (4-legged or 2-legged). I simply ask so that we’re able to provide the safest, most comfortable environment for your fur baby, my other clients, and my resident furkids.

A typical day

We'll start off the day with breakfast and play time outside. If its a nice day, over the lunch hour we'll take a walk around the neighborhood or go to the dog park that is a few blocks away. We'll also have some cuddle time and play time in the afternoon, then dinner and some cuddles before bed. Occasionally we do some dog-friendly adventures around town.

Carin was so great and accommodating for our last min booking! Her and her two dogs made Archie feel at home and spent tons of time outside. Her update cadence was perfect for us and I would definitely book with her again! Carin is very kind and nurturing❤️
