My name is Carey, I am an avid animal lover and proud dog mom to one amazing pup, a Boston Terrier named Olive. I recently lost my pit mix, Nolan, after almost 14 years of love and companionship and am looking to welcome visiting dogs into my home. My whole life, my dad has been a veterinarian so I have grown up with so much love and compassion for dogs, cats and all sorts of animals. We've had a squirrel, pigs, chinchilla's, you name it! I also have experience with horses (both miniature and full size), goats, chickens, sheep and other farm animals. I have worked with and cared for dogs as small as a guinea pig, all the way up to caring for 3 great danes in the same household! I have had to administer medications to my dogs as well as other animals and love to play with them and give them all the love and attention they deserve. I volunteered at a local animal shelter while in college, looking after and walking many of the dogs there before they got adopted. I know I will be great fit for watching your pup as I have experience with young and lively dogs, older dogs, and even dog-aggressive dogs. Please note, I do have 3 small children ages 4 in under in my home so your dog must be kid friendly and dog friendly. I work from home so I will be with your fur baby around the clock!

Carey was the absolute best dog sitter I could ever ask for!! She was so so helpful and patient and made me feel so at ease taking care of my high-energy German Shepherd, Lady. It’s always a bit nerve-racking to leave your dog with someone new, and especially so when your dog is a handful like my Lady! But Carey truly went above and beyond my expectations, and even when Lady had some frustrating anxiety issues, Carey took care of it without complaint, which seriously meant the world to me. She also sent me lots of photos every day and kept me super updated!! Book Carey for your next dog sitter and you will be so glad you did!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! 🐾 Over the few days we were away, Carey kept us updated with so many adorable pictures that made us feel like we were right there with our pup. It was clear my (Velcro 😉) dog was happy, safe, and well-loved. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! ❤️

Carey was wonderful with Jager! She was extremely responsive, friendly, and kept me well updated with photos throughout his stay. It was clear her whole family showered my fur baby with love. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such caring hands. Highly recommend!

I work remotely from home so I am available 24/7 and your dog will always be by my side! I also have a fenced in private yard so your pup will have ample potty breaks.

I have dog beds and dog toys all over my house but our dogs have always been welcome on our couches and in our beds but am happy to make any necessary accommodations. I also love to send photos throughout the day!

I love to take my dogs to the parks around the area or even just a loop around my neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard and I am more than happy to play fetch with your furry friend!
