Living in the foothills on 2 acres, my dogs have always had the great outdoors to frolic and play in with a keen eye of oversight by myself and my family. Consideration for my community, neighbors and wildlife have always been critical to the care I provide. My role as a responsible Parent to all of our animals and an Aunti to all the animals that don't actually live with us, is fundamentally important and the very being of who I am. This means being observant and paying attention to each animal, with lots of love, patience, discipline and awareness of the overall needs of each animal and the collective whole. There is play time, cuddles and snuggle time, lap time (mostly cats), learning time, feeding time, and discovery time and rest time. The care of young animals is significantly different than older and senior animals and I have experience with every stage of life for an animal. And with this knowledge, every phase of each life is honored and accepted, with a deep trust that our animals and those that come into my life are ever neglected or overlooked in any way.

If you have a chance to hire Carey to walk your dogs, I highly encourage you to do so. I have found her to be a really great dog walker. She cares about the dogs and gives them lots of love and attention. And of course they adore her! She has been very dependable and is a great communicator. She always lets me know when she is coming and then she always shows up. I have found that to be a rarity, so really appreciate her work ethic. She cares!
Carey took over my dog walking duties for three weeks while I was recovering from hip surgery. I have two high maintenance, active dogs and she was a dream. She communicated really well, showed up on time, loved the dogs, managed them, went for long walks, and made the experience completely stress free. I would highly recommend Carey to walk any dog; when she drives up the driveway they are so excited to see her!
Carey has been our pet sitter for the last 10 years, mainly caring for our 2 dogs for longer stints for up to 2 weeks or so at a time. I fully trust and know that our dogs are well loved and getting plenty of exercise. She is an animal lover at heart which is apparent as soon as she is around my dogs. I fully recommend her for your pets needs and your pets will enjoy their time with her.
Carey is a responsible, dog LOVING, outdoorsy person. She walks year-round and stops to talk to all pets on our walks! I have two dogs and she walks one of mine. She picks up poop, she obeys the rules on the variety of trails we use. She is an animal lover. She is reliable. She will love your dog too! Schedule
Pet care is a priority for me at home as well as to those I serve and I make certain that I am intentional about the time and energy I bring to the animals I spend time with. I am available to work around your busy schedule, to give you the peace of mind that your furry loved ones are well taken care of and have a friend looking after them. I am currently open to dog walking and cat care opportunities in North Boulder and West into the foothill communities of Wonderland Hills, Dakota Ridge, Pine Brook Hills, Carriage Hills, Boulder Heights, Lee Hill, and Wagonwheel Gap Road communities.
