I’m currently in between full-time work, which allows me a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care. Because my schedule is intentionally open right now, I’m able to give pets my full, focused attention rather than fitting them in around a demanding job.

Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and a calm adult cat in my home. My cat is accustomed to a peaceful environment and I’m intentional about slow, thoughtful introductions when needed. If your dog prefers space, needs structure, or requires crating, I can easily provide a separate, quiet room for their stay! My neighborhood also has safe, well-maintained walking trails, which are great for walks and enriching outdoor time beyond the yard. I follow feeding instructions carefully, monitor behavior closely, can give medications if needed, and maintain a clean, low-stress environment. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every animal with love, respect, and attentive care to their individual needs. 🐾

Before a stay, it’s important for me to understand your pet’s routine, temperament, and any specific needs that help them feel secure! I like to know their typical feeding schedule, exercise preferences, energy level, and how they respond to new environments or other animals. Please share any medical needs, allergies, medications, or behavioral quirks I should be aware of. If there are known triggers, anxieties, or training cues you use at home, that’s incredibly helpful as well!
A typical day
A typical day in my care is structured, active, and tailored to your pet’s energy level and personality! Mornings usually begin with a calm outdoor break in my securely fenced backyard, followed by a walk along the nearby trails for fresh air and mental stimulation. For dogs who enjoy more activity, we can explore longer walks around the pond or visit the local dog park for supervised social time. Throughout the day, I incorporate interactive play with toys, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention and affection. If your dog enjoys water and you’re comfortable with it, supervised pool time can also be an option during warmer months! For pets who prefer a slower pace, I balance light activity with quiet rest and companionship. At the end of an active stay, I’m also happy to provide a gentle bath so they return home clean and relaxed. 🫧🐶 My goal is for your pet to feel engaged, safe, and pampered from the moment they arrive to the moment you pick them up!

I grew up in a home filled with dogs, cats, hamsters, and reptiles! I’m very active, nurturing, and have a flexible schedule! I truly love bonding with and caring for all animals! 🐾 I’ve been caring for all pets for as long as I can remember. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to mini dachshund—and with different lifestyles, from high-energy puppies to senior dogs with particular care needs. For cats, I understand that trust is earned. I’m comfortable with shy, independent, and highly social cats alike, and I respect their boundaries while making sure they feel secure and cared for. Friends, neighbors, and family rely on me because I’m dependable, observant, and consistent. Your pet won’t just be supervised. They’ll be genuinely cared for like family.

Carey is amazing with animals! She has a great love for all furry friends, and I wouldn’t hesitate to entrust her with your pets. She stayed with our cat and dog while we traveled to Europe for 3 weeks. She spoiled our dog with scheduled multiple walks daily. When she picked up her blue cap, our dog excitedly knew it was time to walk! I would definitely use Carey again, and would fully trust her with my pets, and in my home again.
Carey was an amazing pet sitter! She has taken care of my cat multiple times while I was out of town. My cat loves her and she is very trustworthy. Highly recommend her if you need someone to watch your pet!
