I work from home so your pet will have plenty of company and pets if they wish. I don’t like to be away from the home more than 4-5 hours when pet-sitting. This can be less based on the needs of your situation.

My favourite activity for pets is walking them and giving them the opportunity to smell what’s going on in the neighborhood. If that isn’t available to do, there will be plenty of play depending on your pets style. I’ve been perfecting my feather wand mouse simulation movements for the cats.

I’ve looked after friends and family pets for 20 years and our dog Amber was a valued family member for 14 years. After Amber passed away, looking after others pets has filled the whole in my heart as only our furry (and sometimes feathery or scaly) companions can. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and adapt care accordingly. I’ve taken pet cpr and first aid for a few years now to help my preparedness should an emergency occur. I’ve also started watching Jackson Galaxy to get familiar with his approach of cat care. Regular communications will be provided to ensure you feel comfortable your pet is well looked after. Lengthy exercise or slow and short meditative walks are provided based on your pets needs. I have several years experience with senior care and administering oral medication.

Carey is an incredibly gentle, caring and kind human being. Impeccably organised, transparent, committed and trustworthy. We felt instantly relaxed around Carey, as did the dogs. Carey took care of my giant breed dogs, and my cat during an intense heat wave. One of my dogs is a mountain dog who struggles if the temperature goes above 18 degrees. Carey went above and beyond in making sure they were cool and watered. AND took care of our garden! Carey made sure we were updated regularly which was just perfect when thousands of miles away. It’s never easy leaving your animal babies behind. Our slightly shy cat even made multiple appearances! When we arrived back home I could honestly feel that my dogs (and cat) were relaxed and felt safe. One of my dogs gets very anxious if we leave him for 5mins, yet he seemed really content and of course happy to see us. I could feel they had been loved and cared for. The house was immaculate too. I would honestly love for Carey to look after my animal babies and my home on repeat. We found a gem! :-)
Carey was great with our black Labrador. I have never seen Luna look so well as when we got back and so happy. All of the updates from Carey were fantastic and the house also looked lovely. Thanks for being fabulous Carey and for putting my mind at ease on holiday.
Another great sit. This time just for the day but as always Carey and Tristan were fantastic. They are so flexible and accommodating. Willow and Tyson were so excited to see them and willow (my nervous dog) relaxed straight away on their arrival after a very happy hello. I always feel happy leaving the dogs with Carey as know the dogs are so pampered and they have everything they need (including lovely updates and photos that I get throughout the stay). See you soon x
