Pet care experience
First-rate care in a family setting
I’m a full time social work/education grad student, and working from home while my kids are in school. Aside from class time we are available to play with dog friends most of the day. Our 5 year old labradoodle, Nano, is great with other dogs. He will play with pups that want to play, but happily chills on the couch with those that want to lounge. My 16 year old is a vet tech student and has received dog training/handling/ medication experience through school. Rover is our travel fund! We love watching dogs, and dogs help us to see the world. We have traveled to China, the Galapagos and Prague thanks to Rover and our next destination is still in discussion. When you come and meet us, we'd love to hear about your favorite travel destination. We have a fenced in backyard. We frequently take field trips to hike Breakheart Reservation, or play on the beach in Revere.

This is our 5th time boarding our dog with Caren, and the longest stay at 11 days. We got lots of photos while we were away, and came home to a very happy and tired pup. We can’t thank Caren and her family enough for treating Blue like family!
This is our third time sending our dog for a week with Caren and her family. They treat our dog like their own, sending lots of photos of dog walks, treats, snuggles and play time. We feel very comfortable that our dog is well taken care of while we travel, he often doesn’t want to leave! We are already planning our next dog sitting stay!
Caren and her family are the BEST! This is our second time sending our dog for a full week with them. He doesn’t want to come home he enjoys them and their dog so much. Communication is easy, drop off and pick up are quick, and we love the daily photo updates. It makes vacation so much more enjoyable when you don’t have to worry about your pet. Our dog had a fabulous time with Caren. He enjoyed being on his own vacation with her. I loved getting the pictures and updates from her. Caren was also extremely accommodating to me and to Otis. I highly recommend booking with her!
I could not say great enough things about Caren and her and her family’s care for our dog. She sent frequent pictures and updates to keep us involved and comforted and made sure to take our girl on walks to ease her anxiety about a new place to stay. Was so attentive to her needs and she came home happy and healthy! Will absolutely rebook!
Caren and her family were so sweet and took great care of our puppy Blue. I received frequent pictures to keep me up to date on what they were doing. She was quick to respond with any questions. Our dog had a blast and we will definitely book with Caren again.

We have a fenced in backyard along with access to a bike trail! We love to play fetch in the yard and go for long walks on the trial.

A typical day
We frequently visit Breakheart Reservation, Revere Beach and have access to the bike path one block from our house. We don’t normally take dogs from multiple households so your dogs gets all of our attention!
