The thing that I was most excited about turned 18 for was finally being able to join Rover. I have been dog sitting for 5 years and have owned a dog for 11 years. I have always had the biggest love for dogs. One thing I love to do in my free time is frequently visit a shelter to go and give each one of them a little extra love. 😊 My goal is to give my clients a worry free experience and to always make sure they know there animal is in good care. I would be more than happy to send frequent pictures and updates :)

To start, I typically will require a meet up before the service. My home: I make sure that they have a safe space to go to and I always slowly introduce the dog to my dogs to ensure that it’s not overwhelming, given that they are already in a completely new environment. Another thing that I do, no matter what the dog is, is when everyone is gone I put my dogs downstairs, and the clients dog upstairs, just to ensure that they get there alone time. 😊

We met Cara when we first moved into the neighborhood. She was walking her dog while we were moving boxes on our first day. Since then, we’ve been on walks together as a group, and our dogs love playing together. Cara has become our go-to sitter when we need someone to let Joni, our 8-year-old, out when we have long workdays or go on vacation. Joni loves seeing Cara, and we know she’s in good hands. Dear Humans, We’d like to file an official review of our vacation with the amazing dog sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Paws, Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When our humans left, we were a little concerned. Who would throw the ball? Who would give belly rubs? Who would understand that “just one treat” actually means seven treats? Then Cara arrived. There were endless games, adventures, cuddles, and enough love to make us forget we were supposed to miss our humans. She let us be our goofy selves, gave us plenty of playtime, and somehow never complained when we tracked half the outdoors back inside. And when we got extra dirty from all our important dog business? She even gave us baths! We may have pretended to hate them, but secretly we loved being clean and fluffy again. We felt safe, loved, spoiled, and completely at home. If you’re looking for someone to care for your dogs like they’re family, we can confidently wag our tails and say she’s the best. Cara has watched my dog, Cardi, a couple of times while I would have to travel, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She was very communicative, flexible, and sent regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Cardi was in good hands. Cara's dog is also very sweet and got along great with Cardi, making the experience even better. Cara is so caring and good with animals, our dog gets so excited to see her every time we’ve had her let him out and to go for walks. You can tell she truly loves dogs and all animals! I would highly recommend her!
Cara has watched my Shih Tzus several times and she’s amazing with them. I 100 percent trust she is taking good care of them while I’m gone and they really love having her watch them too! Highly recommend!!

Schedule
Pet care fits into my routine so naturally because I truly love it! I’m already used to dog sitting often, and planning my days around feeding, walks, and lots of playtime, so adding in new furry friends is honestly the best part of my week. The highlight of my weeks will be getting to meet all sorts of new dogs and see each one of their personalities. I’m a full time college student, but my mornings from 6am-10am and afternoons after 3pm are typically open. By doing rover, this will allow me to get my dog fix while being away from home. ☺️
