Do your pet a favor and hire Cara to pet sit. You will both be glad you did. Cara is kind, dependable, thoughtful and conscientious. She obviously has a way with pets. My cat was enthralled with Cara from the first meeting - headbutting her, rubbing up against her. And, from the pics Cara sent while I was away, my cat’s crush on Cara continued. I was away for nearly three weeks and returned to find a happy and contented cat. Thank you, Cara.

Cara took great care of our 2 dogs. We picked her mainly because she told us she has experience with ducks as well. We have 2 ducks and we came home to the biggest mess imaginable. They had no food or water, their kennel was soaked in poop and filled with flies and maggots. We left clear instructions (just to refill food & water and replace the bedding) it’s taken 2 days to clean up the mess that was left behind. I knew most people wouldn’t agree to pet sitting for us because of our ducks, but Cara assured us she was experienced and that was not the case. For dog sitting I’d say absolutely go with her, but no other animals.

Cara was recommended to me by a friend who had had Cara pet sit for her while she was on a trip, so when it was my turn to go out of town, I called. Even though I trusted my friend’s opinion of Cara, it’s always so difficult to leave your pets with someone else. I have 2 pets with very different needs: a ball-obscessed doodle and my old standard schnauzer with arthritis and bad urinary issues —each on their own prescription diet. We even had something silly to say to them before feeding. Cara followed my lengthy and specific instructions for each and even sent photos and videos almost every day of my 10 day vacation including one or two of her saying their silly pre-meal phrase. Plus she left my house in immaculate shape. As a client, I was extremely happy. As a veterinarian, I was really impressed. I would recommend Cara to any of my clients—even ones with pets that have complicated medical needs and diets. And I am recommending her to you now.
