I’m an avid walker and love being outdoors, so daily dog walks are a natural and enjoyable part of my routine. Fitness and wellbeing are a big part of my lifestyle, and there’s nothing better than combining that with time spent with dogs — keeping both of us happy and healthy! I work from home, which means I can give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day, from relaxed cuddles and playtime to long, energising walks. Whether it’s a brisk morning walk or an afternoon stroll, I always make sure dogs get the care, company, and exercise they need to thrive.

Whether I’m looking after your dog in my home or yours, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences — from feeding times and walks to favourite toys and spots to relax. In my home, dogs have plenty of space to rest and play, and they’re treated like part of the family (Rua, my red setter, loves the company too!). If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll keep to their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel at ease. I’m tidy, respectful of your space, and make sure your pet gets all the attention and affection they’re used to — along with regular walks, updates, and photos so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

I’m reliable, active, and always keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you’ll never have to wonder how your pup is doing. From energetic pups who love adventure to older dogs who prefer a gentler pace, I adapt to each dog’s needs and personality. Whether you’re away for a few hours or a few days, you can count on me to give your dog plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.

Scenic walks – Explore local parks, trails, or beaches in your area (dogs love new smells and open space) Dog park trips – If they’re social, take them to a local dog park for playtime and fetch. Long walks – Great for high-energy breeds! Bring water and treats for breaks. Fetch or frisbee – Classic for a reason; great exercise and bonding. Tug-of-war – Perfect for indoors or back gardens.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and can’t imagine life without them! From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbours, and family have always relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m currently the proud dog mom to Rua, my beautiful red setter, who keeps me active and constantly learning. I love getting outdoors for long walks, playing fetch, and giving dogs the love and attention they deserve.
Reviews
“Cara is amazing with our dog, Milo. She kept him happy, exercised and calm while we were away — and sent lovely photo updates. I felt totally confident leaving Milo in her care. Highly recommend!”
I can’t recommend Cara enough as a dog minder. She’s incredibly trustworthy, responsible, and treats every dog like her own. She sends regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and cared for. As a veterinary student it is very important to me that my dog is comfortable and taken care of well! There is no doubt that Cara takes this responsibility very seriously! My dog always comes home calm, well-walked, and loved!
Cara has such a natural way with dogs — she’s patient, gentle, and full of love for them. My dog absolutely adores her, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She goes above and beyond every time, whether it’s extra cuddles, long walks, or sticking to his routine perfectly.
I can’t recommend Cara enough as a pet sitter and dog walker! She is incredibly responsible, caring, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Every time she watches my dog, I know he’s in great hands. Cara goes above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for—whether it's sticking to their routine, giving them lots of playtime, or just making sure they're comfortable when I'm away. She also sends great updates and photos, which gives me so much peace of mind. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and truly passionate about animals, Cara is the perfect choice!
