Safety, trust & environment
I have trained using various training methods, so I am confident in maintaining and incorporating these onto our own walks to keep walks structured how you want them.
Information Cara S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know as much as possible! I treat every dog like my own. What would you like to get out of the walk? (Maintain training and structure like loose lead walking or road manners? Or simply having fun with a tired pup by the end of the walk? What does your dog like or not like? Can they be trusted off lead? If not (I have a long training lead that gives them 10ft of freedom safely) anything you think is important, let me know :)
A typical day
I personally enjoy taking my own dog to rural areas for a good run around with lots of sniffs away from busy life! However, I am more than happy to stay local if thats what you prefer. We also love mental enrichment, getting dogs to use their noses and playing games (searching for treats, scatter feeding in grass, licky mats and snuffle mats) will tire their brain out at the end of the walk so they can be fully fulfilled ready for a good snooze when they return home. I can provide this aspect if you would like also for home visits :)
Location

Dog lover with experience working in kennels
Pet care experience
🔷Canine First Aid Trained 🔷 🔷Canine Behaviour Training Diploma🔷 I have experience running my own dog walking business, volunteering at a local German Shepherd Rescue in kennels and I have experience handling a variety of different dogs (large breeds or reactive dogs are no issue). I can walk in your neighbourhood to keep it familiar but also have no problem going to a field/wooded area with less people and dogs. Any specific requests please just let me know as I'm pretty flexible.
Reviews

Cara was great with Bear and Willow, she did a pre-visit check the day before, and on the day visited them twice during the day along with photos showing how much they enjoyed her visit. Will definitely use Cara again.

Cara was amazing with Roxy. Handled her so well as she is very excitable. Nothing was too much trouble. We are going to use her for weekly walks as Roxy and Cara got on so well 🩷

Dogs and I are soooo happy with Cara. It's a weight off my mind knowing they are having a great walk with her when I need to leave them.

The dogs fell in love with Cara immediately when she came in. She was not phased by their size or enthusism. In particular Cara took onboard Bella's specific issues and both enjoyed their walk with her. Will definitely ask her to come and walk with them again. Thank you
