Availability
I work full-time, but I’m at home 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.) During those days, plus weekends, I’m available for dog walking, or able to stop by to take care of your cat/other pets. With enough notice, I may be available to offer help on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My work is also very flexible and it doesn’t matter where I do it - which is ideal for house sitting, or pet-sitting at your house.

A typical day
I’d love to take your dog out on a long walk or to nearby parks where they can smell all kinds of new smells! If you have an enclosed yard, catch is the perfect game. Otherwise, I’m happy to pet and play with them and give them lots of loving.

Pet care experience
I am an equal opportunity cat and dog lover! I typically prefer to stay at owners homes, where the pet will be most comfortable, but am also happy to conduct daily check ins to feed, play and change the litter. I’ve worked with cats and dogs who are a few years old to ones who are elderly and require medication - and am very reliable, attentive and able to follow whatever directions necessary to provide them with appropriate care. I regularly walk dogs, and am tall and strong, so I’m comfortable handling dogs of most sizes. I will determine if I’m able to walk very large dogs on a case by case basis, for the safety of the dogs and myself.

Cara was a fantastic sitter! She stayed for our house for about a week while we were on a long vacation, and we came back to two happy cats and a clean, tidy home. One of our cats takes daily medication and the other is a shy, opinionated kitty who is mistrustful of strangers, and Cara won over both of them quickly and gave them lots of attention. She sent us adorable and funny photos, was easy to reach over text messages, and asked great questions about how to best care for them. Our cats clearly loved her and we felt totally at ease on our trip, knowing they were in such responsible hands. We'd absolutely work with Cara again and recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced pet sitter.
