I come from a family of dog lovers (at one time having 10!) and I’ve always been dog-obsessed. Caring for dogs is second nature to me, I absolutely love them. I have 5 of my own, back at my family home in Ireland ranging from a very large German Shepard (Ruby) who thinks she’s a baby, to a miniature Jack Russell (Aero) who thinks he’s the boss! Feeding, walking, play, treats and lots of attention are guaranteed 🤎🐶 If someone was to mind my dog, I would require an exceptionally high standard of care and love and I provide above and beyond that when I mind someone else’s dog(s).

My dog had a lovely stay with Cara, she looked after him very well and was very experienced in looking after larger dogs. She made sure he was exercised with lots of walks, play and cuddles and gave me lots of updates and photos throughout his stay. I would highly recommend Cara's dog boarding service!
I couldn’t recommend Cara highly enough as someone to mind your dog. She absolutely loves dogs and is incredibly caring, responsible and attentive. She has grown up around dogs and currently has five of her own in her family home back in Ireland, so she has plenty of experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I have no doubt that any dog in Cara’s care would be treated like one of her own and given lots of love, attention and care. Any owner would be lucky to have her look after their pet!
I cannot even begin to explain how much Cara loves animals - and dogs in particular just bring her so much joy! Coming from a family of dog-lovers, Cara has been raised around dogs and other pets all her life so she has a very good understanding of all their little ways and needs. Since moving to London she really misses her own much loved dogs at home, therefore having the opportunity to care for someone else’s dogs will be a win, win - both for Cara and the lucky dogs she gets to care for!😊 Her best days out always involve the dogs - especially taking them to play at the local dog park then stopping off at a dog-friendly cafe for a well-earned pupuccino!😊 I can confidently say you will be hard pushed to find anyone who will lavish your dog(s) with as much love, kindness, care and attention as Cara will. I cannot recommend her highly enough - She genuinely just absolutely loves dogs and all dogs seem to just love her too!❤️
Cara has never met a dog she didn’t love and is constantly stopping in the street to greet them. She has extensive experience with big and small dogs and has looked after and helped walk my dog several times, so I trust her completely. She is caring, responsible and incredibly attentive, and I would have no hesitation in recommending her as a pet caregiver.

Schedule
I am available on weekends and some weekdays (very flexible). I work 3 days a week in office (usually Tuesday-Thursday but these are flex) and work from home 2. My office is also dog friendly on Fridays. Therefore I mind dogs while working mid week or else on weekends, with frequent walks and outdoor and indoor play. I live with dog-obsessed friends who will give lots of cuddles to too.

Safety, trust & environment
The apartment is secure with fob entry and there is a large enclosed garden space, 2 high enclosed balconies. The living room is spacious and we live a 15 minute walk from the common. There are many other dogs in this building who are so friendly and good with other dogs so it would be a great chance for your dog to make some friends (if your dog is sociable of course!)
A typical day
I love to start the day with a walk if it’s an overnight stay, then a longer walk and play time at the common. Frequent breaks to the garden for run around and playing with toys, followed by an evening walk. Weekends could be a whole mix as my flatmates (who are huge dog people) love finding dog events to go to, which is great for socialisation.
