I grew up in South Africa and we always had dogs getting my very own at just 7 years old. Dog friendships have entirely shaped my world and for this I owe a lot to our most faithful companions. ❤️ I bring 34 years of hands on experience learning through family and friends pets, dog sitting / walking and my own returning clients. Through the years of observation and self-study into canine behaviour, psychology, nutrition and general wellbeing. I don't just manage dogs I do my best to fully understand them as the sentient beings they truly are. So my approach is holistic one creating a calm, enriching sanctuary where their physical needs, mental stimulation and emotional state all matter. No aversive methods just a whole lot of love and reassurance plus fun playtime with enrichment activities tailored to their unique personality or anxiety profile. As your absence does spike their stress levels greatly with my gentle loving awareness I create low-cortisol environments through gentle routine, thoughtful activities and genuine attunement to what your dog needs to feel confident and content while your away. 🐾❤️ A well enriched dog is a happy dog and your beloveds wellbeing reflects how seriously I embody this responsibility. My breed handling experience includes: Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Cocker Spaniels, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Rottweilers, Great Danes, toy & small French poodles, Airedales, Sausage dogs, Wire haired Fox Terriers, Jack Russels, Maltese Poodles, mix breeds, rescue dogs, Mini Pinchers, Staffies, mini Bull Terriers, Old English & English bulldogs, Pugs, Pekingese, Shih Tzu’s and my most favourite of all French bulldogs 💜 I love ALL dogs and open to caring for any breed yet I have a particularly affinity for frenchies, as my own sweetheart passed away last year from cancer 🪽🐾❤️
