Animals have been an important part of my life for ever. Between having dogs of my own growing up, taking care of friends and family’s pets, and having dog sitting be my own source of joy, pet sitting is just as important to me as it is to the owner! From high energy beagles, to lazy labs, to anxious-shy pups, I have done it all! I have also grown up with dogs since I was 5 years old, so I am very familiar with their behavior, and how to give a pet all the love and care they need.

Trusting someone to care for your pet in your own home is something I do not take lightly! Mutual respect between client, pet, and sitter is key. Whether it is playing with a specific toy, crating during certain hours, or simply snuggling on the couch, I am here to guarantee that your best friend has a great experience while you're gone.

Cara did both walks and overnight care for my yellow lab while I lived in Boston. She’s great with animals/following care instructions and is super easy to communicate with!

Cara is not only a thoughtful and caring pet watcher but owner! Her love for all pets is rooted in her love for her own dog, Willow. I am a teacher on summer break so have plenty of time to love on your fur babies! My weekday schedule is flexible and wide open!
