Working from the comfort of my home full-time means that your cherished pet will receive my undivided attention. With ample time to spare, I’m dedicated to providing top-notch care, including leisurely lunchtime walks (of course, more if staying overnight) and regular garden outings. My hope is that my cosy flat becomes their home away from home, where cuddles, playtime, and attention are all guaranteed.

Pet care experience
Since childhood, I’ve been surrounded by dogs, cats, and even horses that quickly became my extended family. My love of animals has led me to helping out my boyfriend at his family-owned pet shop based in Tranent, where I have expanded my knowledge of pet care and had the joy of building relationships with furry companions of all shapes and sizes.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cara to care for your beloved pet. She has a very calm & caring nature which is picked up (and appreciated) by my dog. I've occasionally had to contact Cara for a last minute home visit and this has never been a problem. She's always willing to go the extra mile to help.
Cara is a true dog lover. She cares for my dog Murphy every week while I'm at work, and every time I mention her name he gets very excited and starts getting the zoomies. She makes sure he is well looked after as he has special requirements and she never sways from the care that he needs. I can confidently say that Cara will go above and beyond the standards expected for dog care, and I would recommend her to anyone considering her services.
Cara looked after my 2 cats when I was on holiday for 10 days. One of the cats was initially scared but Cara brought him out of his shell and they were best friends after a couple of days. (I got plenty of photos/videos sent!) They were well looked after… fed, watered and litter tray cleaned. She is very friendly and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cara, and I certainly will use her again in the future!
Cara truly goes above and beyond in making sure my dog felt loved and comfortable when she watches her. When she watches her she takes her on her daily walks, plays with her and lots of cuddles. It is clear Cara has a genuine passion for animals. I would recommend Cara to any of my friends and family for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.
