Two Paws Up Pet Sitter!

I’ve loved animals since my best friend, Popeye, a sharpie husky, growing up. We were thick as thieves and went everywhere together. After he passed, I fostered three dogs and volunteered at an animal shelter. I had the opportunity to adopt Lloyd, my own animal, and provide him a second home of comfort, as he was severely neglected. Lloyd and I worked extensively together, and he is trained as a support dog. Please be assured that your pets (family members) are safe with me. I have worked with animals professionally since 2015 and have experience with animals that are shy or anxious. My second dog Mallow has anxiety and is loud towards others, because he barks when he gets nervous. I have all the tips and tricks on how to manage any quirky habits or personality traits that your pet may have to ensure that you and your pet have the best experience!

Cara is incredible. This was the first time I've ever left my puppy and I was nervous, but Cara made it so easy. She is a natural with dogs, caring and sweet. She not only provides walks and basic care, she went above and beyond. She did art with him, she did puzzles with him, she spent so much time making him feel safe and loved. I could not recommend her higher. She is the best choice.

Cara is the best! She did so great with our pup and even helped train him! It really put my mind at ease knowing we had amazing support for him especially with the reactivity! I always get so nervous leaving him with new people and she were so great! 🙌🏼 she kept us updated with pictures, she did mind puzzles with him, so many walks, and even arts and crafts! She’s just the sweetest!

Safety, trust & environment

I currently rent a town home. Both of my dogs are here with me all the time. We go on several walks a day, and go run at a safe location together to ensure that they are well exercised. My dogs are bell trained and do let me know when they need to go outside, but in general I do let them out every two hours. My dogs are not crated, but I do have one available, as well as crate pads that absorb any accidents that may happen.

Pets

A typical day

Please let me know if your animal has any favorite activities. Otherwise, I have memory or busy games to bring, we can go for sniff walks, and explore new areas and nature trails. If your dog likes running or playing fetch, we certainly can do that too!
