Growing up with all sorts of animals, I believe pets are our family and deserve the same love and respect we show each other. I have a deep-founded love for all animals and would love to meet your fur family! My experience: I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals. I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits, and hamsters, and have worked around horses since high-school. I currently own a rambunctious cat with medical needs, so I have experience administering pills and oral medication. What you can expect: I understand the unconditional love pet parents have, and I want to be there for you and your pet so you can be assured that your pet will be in the best hands possible. During meet & greets, I take detailed notes to ensure I provide the best care I can during my visits. I have used Rover for my own cat and dog, so I understand the ins and outs of pet-sitting as both a sitter and owner. Under my care, I will provide your pet with my undivided attention and fill out detailed cards outlining our activities.

I understand that having a stranger around can be stressful for a pet, so my goal is to have a positive experience and connect with your pet. I am happy to adopt any rules and routines to ensure a stress-free and smooth visit.

Cara was so sweet with our pitbull dogs. They loved her. She is very neat and tidy and respected our house when we were gone. She even asked about if there was special precautions for our dogs during the rainstorms we had. Very intuitive.

Cara was absolutely wonderful with both my cat, Chubby, and my brother's dog, Arizona! She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of, happy, and comfortable while we were away. Cara provided regular updates and adorable photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were in loving hands. Chubby can be a bit shy, but Cara did her absolute best to meet all his needs. Arizona had the best time plenty of walks and playtime. It’s clear Cara truly loves animals and treats them like her own. We will definitely be booking with Cara again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter!

Schedule
I am currently completing an externship at the UW Medical Center during typical Mon-Fri 8-5 business hours. I have open availability on weekends and I may be able to accomodate weekday evenings. Please reach out with any inquiries as I can often try to work around your schedule!

- Please let me know what preferences your pet may have, for example, if your pet is shy and takes time to know strangers. I can and will accommodate to you and your pet, so please let me know about any behaviors I should look out for. I have experience working with reactive dogs down to timid cats and I will take the time to meet their needs.
