I assess each booking on an individual basis. I do have some word-of-mouth clients outside of Rover and scheduling goes the same way for them, too. If I have an opening, the first requestor is given the slot. I work as hard as I can to find a schedule that works for both of us, but wherever you can compromise even a little is greatly appreciated! :)

When staying in homes, I am committed to treating it as my own. All bedsheets are stripped at the end of the stay, and can be washed upon request. I will make every effort to clean your home and leave it as I found it. Please let me know your furniture rules for your pet(s) prior to the sit!

I ask that any pertinent information be left in writing in the home so I can refer to it throughout the stay. This could be behaviors, characteristics, commands, harness instructions and so on.
A typical day
A typical day would involve me staying in the home for long blocks of time. Being able to work remotely during the week allows for maximized flexibility. This also means staying on a consistent potty, walk and bedtime schedule. I only leave dogs on their own for 4-5 hours at a time, max, unless otherwise noted.

Hi! My name is Cara and I am so excited to meet you and your fur baby/babies! A lifelong animal lover, I am looking to keep pursuing my passion. I have worked directly with dogs on all sides of the behavior spectrum both in one-on-one and playgroup settings. Currently, I volunteer at my local shelter and work in a dog daycare setting part-time. I am happy to provide references and answer any questions. I look forward to working together!
