Welcome to our cozy corner in Virginia, where the love for pets is palpable! **Update** I have been given an amazing opportunity to return to the workforce to help our community. I will still be boarding adult dogs who are able to be left home alone for 5-6 hours during the weekdays (I will still be fully available on weekends to care for pups). I'm Cara, a proud Air Force veteran, and I'm thrilled to share my passion for pet care with you. In my home, surrounded by my loving husband and three mischievous fur babies - two adorable chowskies and a sassy cat who rules the roost - I've discovered that pets are more than just companions, they're family. For over two decades, I've been blessed with the joy of sharing my life with animals, and I've had the privilege of welcoming many furry friends into my home. Whether it's through volunteering at a wildlife animal refuge in my high school days or providing trusted pet care for my neighbors and friends, I've always been drawn to the special bond between humans and animals. As a pet parent myself, I understand the importance of finding a safe and loving haven for your beloved pets when you're away. That's why I'm excited to offer my home as your pet's home away from home. While my own fur babies are allowed to lounge on the furniture, I completely respect your wishes if you'd prefer not to create any unwanted habits. My dog has so much fun at Cara’s house that he gets very excited to see her and there is zero separation anxiety about my walking away. That says it all for me.
Cara is so responsive, helpful and caring. My dog loves to see Cara which tells me a lot about his experience with her. She goes out of her way to make both the pet and the owner comfortable. I can’t recommend her enough.
Reliable and personable as ever. I enjoy the photos she sends and I can see my fur baby relaxing at night so I know he’s doing well.
I can’t say enough about how reliable, kind and helpful Cara is. She is like the Auntie of my little fur baby. I know he’s in good hands and gets lots of love from her based on his reaction to her when he sees her.
Once again Cara has stepped up and gone the extra mile to help me deal with a last minute situation. With everything else going on, knowing Cara will provide loving, reliable care and exercise has meant I have one less issue to deal with.
Cara is the best! She always takes such good care of our fur baby and sends me lots of updates during his stay. She has been a blessing to our family knowing he is safe and happy while we are away.

Schedule
Being a psychology scholar, mental stimulation and positive reinforcement with use of learning activities is a priority. Going on walks through trails and playing catch, are other stimulating activities that your pets can look forward to.

*American Red Cross Certified Cat & Dog First Aid (with CPR) * I have a large fenced in yard on a property tucked away from busy roads. With 2 dogs of our own, we provide a fun and safe place for your dogs to enjoy when your schedule does not allow. I am a professional who also served 8 years in the United States Air Force and have be faithfully trusted with many tasks, big and small. Your furry loved ones have a second home with me and can trust that they will be cared for while you are away.

Your fluffster will enjoy nature walks through tthe local trails, playing catch, and other stimulating activities! Being a graduate school psychology scholar, mental stimulation and positive reinforcement with use of learning activities is a priority for your pet while visiting with me.
