Dog and Cat Loving Mom and Daughter
We LOVE dogs and cats, I mean, LOVE! We lost our 14 year old dog, Diana, and aren’t quite ready to welcome another fur baby into our home yet. My daughter knows every single dog and cat in our neighbourhood - we keep a list and have almost 100 dogs and over 40 cats in our notebook. You’ll often find her asking her four fave questions to pet owners - can I pet your dog/cat? What’s their name? How old are they? Where did you get them? While she reaches into her *treat* purse, getting ready to offer her new friends a treat. We live right near Greenwood Park, can spend time there, or out for longer walks. Another one of our fave spots is ‘dog beach’, the off leash area near the water treatment plant in the beach. We’ve watched neighbours cats and dogs in the house, walked dogs in the neighbourhood, and are excited to meet more! If you’re booking for the first time, we would love to meet you in the park to make sure everyone is a good fit :)

Cara took great care of Taylor and made sure she got the run that she needed. Also, is very flexible and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.
Cara was wonderful with my cat Gus! She was extremely communicative at each drop in, sent a ton of photos that kept me reassured, and even went to the extra mile to make sure my house and belongings were safe while I was away (I had accidentally left some items out). Gus loved Cara too as he was very sociable and took to her immediately, evidenced by the photo updates she sent. We can’t wait to work with Cara again!
Luna had lots of fun with Cara and came back home exhausted. Cara is awesome.

Tilly had a great stay with Cara! She kept Tilly busy, sent lots of photos and was a good communicator. Cara seemed to have a genuine love for dogs. Definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work remotely 99% of the time during the summer. I can tailor pet care to your current schedule, multiple walks or bathroom breaks in our fenced in yard.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a (small) fenced in yard, can tailor our care to your current schedule and are also comfortable with senior cats and dogs. Friends and neighbours have trusted us with their babies.
A typical day
I would be happy to take your dog to one of the dog parks around (Greenwood, when open, or Monarch Park, the beach etc). Walks on quiet streets in the east end are my fave.
