Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel secure, comfortable, and loved at all times. I follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to favorite toys and walk routes, and I always keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health. When entering a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and privacy. My background in security has trained me to be detail-oriented, reliable, and discreet. I understand the trust it takes to let someone care for your furry family member, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, whether that’s a quick visit, a walk, or an extended stay. I keep you updated with photos and messages, so you’re always in the loop and can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

Information Candy W. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best and safest care possible, I always appreciate knowing a few key things about your pet ahead of time. This includes their daily routine, medical needs, allergies, behavioral quirks, triggers (like loud noises or other animals), and how they typically react to new people or environments. I also like to know what comforts them—favorite toys, calming techniques, or specific commands you use. The more I understand your pet’s personality and preferences, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away. Clear communication helps me give your pet the personalized care they deserve, and gives you peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.

A typical day

A Day in the Life of Your Pet (a.k.a. VIP—Very Important Pet) 🐾 From tail wags to treat time, no two days are exactly alike—but every day is full of fun, attention, and care! A typical day with me might start with a nice morning walk to stretch those legs and sniff every single tree (because yes, each one is very important). After that, it’s time for breakfast, belly rubs, and maybe a little play session—think tug-of-war, laser pointer madness, or fetch with expert-level cheering. If your pet’s more of a couch potato, no problem—we’ll master the art of the chill, complete with cozy snuggles and background nature documentaries (or cartoons, if that’s their jam). Throughout the day, I’ll keep them active, engaged, and most importantly—loved. Whether it’s puzzle toys, practicing tricks, or just sitting outside enjoying the breeze, I make sure your pet gets attention tailored to their personality and energy level.

Pet care experience

Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal enthusiast—big or small, furry, feathered, scaled, or swimming. Honestly, I might just like animals more than humans (they don’t talk back, and they’re way cuter). With years of experience caring for pets of all kinds, I’m here to make sure your fur baby is safe, loved, and thoroughly spoiled while you’re away. By day (and sometimes night), I work full-time as a security officer at a tech site in Silicon Valley. So when I say your pet will be in good hands, I mean it—I've got eyes like a hawk and a heart like a golden retriever. Whether it’s cuddles or home visits, I bring both care and a built-in security presence to every job. I'm off on Fridays and Saturdays and work from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM the rest of the week. That means I'm available for morning visits most days, and I’m all yours on Fridays and Saturdays—prime time for belly rubs, playtime, and pet selfies. Let me know how I can help—I can’t wait to meet your furry (or scaly) family member!

This is the second time Candy has cared for our cats. It was a last minute request and we appreciate her so much!

Candy is the best pet sitter ever! She did a great job feeding my cat and giving her medication. She also brought the packages in and fed our lizard. She leaves daily checklists going over everything she did that day. We'll be booking her again next time!
