I have over 12 years of experience caring for various dog breeds. Caring for animals has been my passion since I was a child. I am skilled in providing basic dog training, including proper leash walking, commands like sit, stay, come, and paw, as well as teaching dogs not to jump up. Additionally, I have experience caring for senior dogs with specific requirements. I have a medium-sized, super-friendly, and playful male dog named Zeus who loves to make new friends! He’ll be there to keep your pet entertained and have a great time together!

Estelle sadly had a knee injury during her stay with Candy during a play session. As a lab she likes to play hard and poor girl tore her ACL. Candy was quick to let us know Estelle had hurt herself and made arrangements to take Estelle to the nearest emergency vet and sat with her until midnight till she could be seen. We were a few hours away and she took great care of Estelle until our return. Thank you for the care and extra support for her.
Candy was an incredble option for boarding my 11 month old kitten Rylee. Super quick response and great communication leading up to my kitty's stay ensuring he would be in good hands, and during his stay with photo updates. Rylee got along very well with Candy's other pets and am grateful for this being Rylee's first socialization with other animals. Thank you so much Candy! I hope to board with you again in the future.
Candy was available for a last minute boarding request for my two cats. She was very kind and sent photos. My cats are not used to other animals and she managed to handle them just fine with her own pets.

Schedule
I currently work as a dog groomer three days a week, a job I truly love and have been doing for a few years now. This shorter workweek allows me the flexibility to handle boarding, pick-ups, drop-offs, and pet care drop-ins, while also being at home to care for the pets I am boarding.

I have a dog-safe apartment and a friendly, active dog who will keep your pet entertained and comfortable. Additionally, I have a crate available should it be necessary. Your dog will receive attentive care during their stay.

A typical day
I absolutely love being outdoors and going for nature walks! Since I live near a dog park and a lovely ravine, my dog gets to join in on the fun. I also enjoy practicing basic training with my dog and any dogs I board. It’s a great way to keep their minds busy, and they always seem to enjoy it.
