I am educator🫶🏾, so beginning August 3, 2026 my work schedule is— Monday-Friday: 7am-12:15pm (no bookings before 3pm) Saturday & Sunday: free all day (book anytime) At this time, I am only comfortable with caring for up to two pets at a time. ✨PLEASE NOTE:✨ When booking an overnight stay, please beware that overnight ≠ all day constant care. Overnight stays only cover the evening, until the next morning. More over, being that I’m an educator and work part-time, your pet(s) need to be able to be left alone for up to 5 1/2 hours during the week. I only offer all day care on the weekends (Sat. & Sun.) which would be the same as my nightly rate unless they’re 30-45 min check-ins.

Your pet’s care will be personalized to their individual needs, just be sure to clearly specify them in your care instructions. I am flexible and have experience with different temperaments as some pets are energetic and need a lot of attention/stimulation, while others are less energetic and prefer their independence. They’ll certainly enjoy plenty of snuggles and play time, and I may even incorporate minor behavioral training when needed.

Let me know if your pet has any aggressive or behavioral triggers that may arise during our sit. Some examples are leash reactivity, food aggression, reactivity with other dogs in the neighborhood or people, or any other concerning issues that I need to be aware of so I can remain safe during the sit. In addition, I am not comfortable caring for pets that need to be muzzled due to aggression at any point during the day.
A typical day
Depending on their individual needs discussed during the meet & greet, your pet(s) and I will certainly have fun exploring your neighborhood and getting plenty of much needed exercise. I try my best to keep them on their regular routine and/or schedule during the sit so that transitions are easier with me being a new person in your home.

Pet care experience
Dogs and cats have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember due to friends and family. They have relied on me for check- ins, play dates, walking, and overall general care. I believe all beings deserve kindness, respect, empathy, and care. I am patient and comfortable with administering medication when needed, large breed dogs, senior care, special needs, and cats.

Candy is the best! We have booked her to watch our very shy dog, Scout, multiple times and she always does a fantastic job. She gives genuinely helpful updates that detail Scout’s wellness so we always feel like we know exactly how she’s doing. I can’t recommend her enough!
We would recommend Candice to anyone who wants to make sure their dogs are loved, looked after, and comfortable. Candice even went above and beyond and implemented some new training for our dogs - something we so appreciate! We got lots of videos and pictures and updates throughout our trip. Candice also seemed to really quickly understand both of our dogs’ personalities and routines, which made us feel like she’s known them forever. We can’t wait to have Candice back with the pups next time we head out of town.
Candice dropped in a couple of times to give our dogs some company and let them outside. Reliable, made it easy for us, great communication and timely updates!
