I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats of all kind. I have a very friendly small dog named Charlie that I rescued. I worked and volunteered with the SPCA, 3 different rescues in Greensboro and have been a foster to many different dog breeds and cats, including puppies and kittens. I have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues and medical needs. I work from home and only take 1 dog at a time so I can be attentive to your pet as much as possible, and make their stay as comfortable as possible :) Currently I can not handle large breed dogs, unless you need me to let them out in a yard at your home.

What a godsend it was to find Candice and her darling dog, Charlie, to care for our little Sammy while we went away for the weekend! Candice took such good care of Sammy in her home, and it was a bonus for Sammy to have a buddy to hang out with. Candice sent us lots of updates and photos. We never had a moment’s worry about him the way we would have if we’d left him at a kennel. Sammy is going to stay with Candice and Charlie for 10 nights in August and I’m sure any other time we’re going out of town and she is available. Highest possible recommendation!!!
This was our first long trip leaving our quirky little reacue dog with a sitter. Candice is amazing! Great communication, lots of updates and pictures, and my dog is always happy and healthy when he comes home. Charlie is a great dog ambassador as well. This was our third time working with Candice (and Charlie) and every experience has been top-notch!
Candace is my very best cat sitter. She knows all about them and can spot medical issues and will tackle any issue 100%, while owner away!! I cannot say enough good things about Candace!!

Safety, trust & environment
I own my home and it’s just me and Charlie, so it’s a very calm and relaxed environment. Charlie is fixed, up to date on shots and on flea/tick preventative. If your dog would stay with us they would need to be dog friendly and have proof of rabies and be on flea/tick prevention

A typical day
I love to play with dogs and cats and will make sure your dog or cat has some fun during our visit. I will always send a report card and pictures after my visit with your pet and keep them on the routine you might have them on.
